Listen, I'll preface this by saying I don't go around praising every chuckle-head I watch on UA-cam, but you guys are seriously my favorite people I've never actually met.
He is and the funny thing is: He is actually one of the best characters because he has the best "energy attacks" (he throws rockets at the opponent). In ultimate battle mode he is basically the first boss.
Matt Wilson created a series some ten years ago called High Score, which then spun off into a more popular series called Bonus Stage. It had a very unique sense of humor chock full of references and word play. I've seen animations by Kirbopher (I think that one that parodied the Power Rangers is an example) of him straight up recycling jokes from Bonus Stage. Not in a referential manner either, just blatantly and unapologetic. I've seen it a few times now, and despite Kirbopher probably being a cool guy, I'm not impressed. tl;dr He steals jokes, and nobody cares what I think.
PaleVoyager If it makes any difference, I care and bothered to read. Kirbopher seems like a cool guy but you've stated some agreeable points about his talent.
***** Still a strawman. I said he stole from Matt Wilson. Past tense. I never accused him of stealing from anybody else, or anybody currently. I also never claimed that someone who style jacks can't change. Kirbopher gained popularity by biting Matt Wilson's content. Regardless of what he does now, that's what riding coattails entails. Do you disagree with that claim? I'd rather you disagree with claims I've made than with claims you've made for me. I'm not watching TOME. You've dissuaded me entirely.
Why does game grumps get more views? While I dont hate the grumps, continue is way funnier. There jokes seem a bit more natural whereas the grumls seem to push them out sometimes. Like I said, I dont hate them, just prefer continue.
I think it's a combination of the grumps' daily uploads and the fact that upon creating the channel both Jon and arin already had their own established fanbases that they carried over to their new channel
Well really they're two different kinds of content. Continue? by nature is focused entirely on how they feel about the game. There is a lot of editing too, and that's why it's a weekly show as opposed to a daily show. I don't think it would be entirely fair to compare them to the grumps. Different content.
Because continue isnt as funny or entertaining as game grumps. Look at this episode and another from thirty episodes ago. Its generally the same. While game grumps mixes it up with stories and expieriances theyve had.
You guys blew my mind at the end with the "sit buu buu sit good dog" video. My family and I used to make fun of that shit back in the day. That's sooo old.
Omg I loved u guys added the "can't tuna fish joke" one of my favourite silly moments in dbz. Should of added the epic monuver music one the punch line hit. Lol
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks it's fucking stupid that the Japanese insisted on having kid Goku's voice actor being the same as adult Goku's voice actor with zero inflection change. Say what you will about the "Japanese voices being better", but at least the American studio knew what should have been done about the voices.
FYI they DID change the tone of Gokus voice inititally but it was badly recieved so they went back to the same as before Also American Goku sounds like a generic hero that has to be deep voiced and stereotypical, he is meant to be a manchild and innocent rather than just another Superman clone.
gentarofourze Personally, I don't think the American voice is deep by any stereotypical means. It does however reflect that Goku has undergone puberty. You can still convey a character as innocent/naive without making their voice sound like a child's (or in Japan's case an old lady - because that's all her voice sounds like). You do it through writing Goku's response and reactions to what is happening around him. It's an attitude, which is completely unrelated to the tone of one's voice.
I think I had this odd Japanese version of this game, I had to leave the cover open but use a spring to press down this button that said the cover was closed, in order to play it. I have no idea why...
I had this game as a kid, and played the hell out of it. This brings up good memories... Too bad you didnt played the single player mode, because it includes really cheesy cutscenes before and after each fight
So, wasn't this the US port of DBZ Hyper Dimension from the Super Famicom from I think 1993 or 94? It wasn't released in the US until 2001 I'm surprised this hasn't become super rare yet.
Budokai 3, the Budokai Tenkaichi games (the first one's rather limited with the combat though), Legends, Legacy of Goku II, Buu's Fury, and the Super sonic warriors games are pretty good games.
Listen, I'll preface this by saying I don't go around praising every chuckle-head I watch on UA-cam, but you guys are seriously my favorite people I've never actually met.
Oh my lord that Continue animated was hilarious. Did Nick say "It's a-me Murphy-o?" Lol
This is my first continue? Episode ive watched...I'll stick around
YOU CAN'T TUNA FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISH
That animated clip makes me realize how much I want another drunktinue episode with JonTron, that would be pretty sweet
I love watching Continue first thing when I wake up..
I'm hoping you live in somewhere other than the United States...but if you do, lawlz.
vunley What's wrong with people who work graveyard shift?
Although I actually do live outside of the US :P
the production value for their videos is great especially for youtube!
I think Chris graduated from the ProJared school of acting. And hair.
We're long-lost cousinbrothers.
I agree, when I saw him I thought.... Projared?
I honestly couldn't tell that was an animation at the end.. I thought I was watching a mini episode!
"Silly Putty genie"
That is the greatest description of Buu EVER!
That Jefferson Airplane reference was perfect!!
OK, I hope we can all agree that more cartoons are needed asap. That was some funny shit! All around great episode next please.
...never realized how much I've wanted an irish stereotype Josh on this show
I'm glad to see Steve from Blue's Clues doing well for himself. :)
In the next 1-3 weeks, Dom will be on at least one episode. I'm calling it right now! Don't make me look like fool here guys. Make it happen.
Kirbopher is Emo Phillips' son, right?
Ah yes Emo Phillips. The thinking man's Bobcat Goldthwait.
Josh
No, Kirbopher is Paul's long-lost brother.
OH NO MY SECRET
Christopher Niosi KIRBOPHER
I ALMOST FORGOT HOW MUCH I LOVE GO-GO PARODY RANGERS
I'M GONNA GO WATCH THEM ALL NOW THANKS
Christopher Niosi Kirbo, I've got fond memories of you from my Newgrounds days. I need to catch up on TOME.
Josh looks so heartbroken when he hears Christopher is moving away!
Man of Steel was the closest we're going to get to a DBZ movie.
Umm Battle of gods is coming out in imax in like 6 days?
live action dbz movie anyways d:
But there is a live-action Dragonball movie....
TheInker not to smart people their isn't.
TheInker There's no such thing as a live-action DBZ movie!
*points at men in black* Take him away, and make it painless.
This episode was over 9000
I would watch the "Continue?" sitcom so hard
Ah yeah, it's Kirb! Thanks for the Dragon Ballin episode. :D
I'd continue that animated series!
+1 for continue the animated series
OH IT'S KOPPOOPER.
THAT'S HIS NAME, YES.
Freaking love these guys, all cool !!!
Game Over this game. Continue that sweet animation.
lol Alf as himself. Nice touch!
I like you guys having guests on. Kris is pretty gangsta
I kinda wanna see what happens on the next episode of continue?: The Animated Series
No Josh this week?
At least you got Alf to replace him.
That guy looks like a mix between ProJared and Paul.
Hercule (Mr. Satan) isn't in this game? Instant Game Over.
He is, but I couldn't pull off the code to unlock him and the other secret characters. Sorry!
He is and the funny thing is: He is actually one of the best characters because he has the best "energy attacks" (he throws rockets at the opponent). In ultimate battle mode he is basically the first boss.
Do you guys ever see the always sunny crew around philly?
Isn't that the guy that was dancing weird in that JonTron vine from like a year ago?
"........"
Jontron Drunkstavaganza 2 confirmed.
That's exactly how Paul acts when the camera stops rollin'.
So will the animated series be available on Hulu? Netflix???
I really hope that ending was a tease for a potential upcoming Drunkstravaganza.
I know it probably wasn't, but a boy can dream.
Aw man you guys live so close to me.
Did not know you guys were in Philly. If I ever see you on the streets I'll have to shake your hands.
Man, I didn't know that you guys hang out with Andy Dick!
OMG I couldn't miss this episode. I still have this game with some of the most bizarre fighting game controls ever.
"Satan Dracula"
....New band name.
Omg if continue was a sitcom!
There needs to be a Fantasy Fiction tournament fighting game.
Nick going supersayan has made my day.
I'm so happy I'm not the only one who has played Super DBZ
That intro was the most AMAZING thing I've ever seen.
Hey it's Kirbopher. I wonder how success on the back of Matt Wilson's talent and humor tastes? Ignoring the aftertaste of coattails, I mean.
Alright, you piqued my interest. Explain.
Matt Wilson created a series some ten years ago called High Score, which then spun off into a more popular series called Bonus Stage. It had a very unique sense of humor chock full of references and word play. PaleVoyager If it makes any difference, I care and bothered to read. Kirbopher seems like a cool guy but you've stated some agreeable points about his talent.
***** Sure
OK
Uh huh
No thanks.
Strawman argument.

THERE, JOKES!!!!

Because one of them is Egoraptor
Because continue isnt as funny or entertaining as game grumps. Look at this episode and another from thirty episodes ago. Its generally the same. While game grumps mixes it up with stories and expieriances theyve had.
80s Intro should always be a thing
Great video
You guys blew my mind at the end with the "sit buu buu sit good dog" video. My family and I used to make fun of that shit back in the day. That's sooo old.
Damn I love that intro
Akira reference for the win
I would really like to know why some are trademarked and some are registered trademarked.
Oh my god... the daft punk joke killed me
Omg I loved u guys added the "can't tuna fish joke" one of my favourite silly moments in dbz. Should of added the epic monuver music one the punch line hit. Lol
Animated Josh is going to be in my nightmares tonight, unlike normal where real Josh is in my wet dreams. Wait... I mean.... aww fuck....
I loved you guys, but after watching that animation showing your TRUE colors, I just don't know anymore...
I like this new guy.
I love Kirb
Paul Pfeiffer's cartoon made me do drugs to feel normal again.
hilarious use of white rabbit.
This game was so fun as a kid!! Seeing it now gives me nostalgia and the disappointment of how wrong I was.
12:41 speaking of that when is Tome ep 11 coming?
a _Continue?_ sitcom? yes please! :D (kudos for the song, too... is it available somewhere?)
_One game to enter, please!_ ~ Josh Henderson 2014
Paul looks a heck of a lot like "Stromae" :O that's crazy! lol great video!
Moral of the story? Have companies like Arc System Works make your tie-in fighting games. Seriously.
you know, totally off topic, but the font used for the names in the opening segment reminds me of Superhuman Samurai Syber Squad
I'm not a fan of Dragonball but I really enjoyed all the extra stuff in this episode, and Josh's jokes were on point.
Can someone please give the guys a fist of the north star game
Why is there a picture of a dog when you scroll over the buffering bar lol?
I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks it's fucking stupid that the Japanese insisted on having kid Goku's voice actor being the same as adult Goku's voice actor with zero inflection change. Say what you will about the "Japanese voices being better", but at least the American studio knew what should have been done about the voices.
I 100% agree with you. I *detest* Goku's Japanese voice.
FYI they DID change the tone of Gokus voice inititally but it was badly recieved so they went back to the same as before

"Well where do we go next? I dunno, fight God."
...And that's when Josh predicted Dragon Ball Super.
Oooh Jefferson Airplane.
Whaaat? My brother and I played this during the old days on our Playstation. 'Twas great!
Always use this intro!
what is the name of the song at 7:48
I think I had this odd Japanese version of this game, I had to leave the cover open but use a spring to press down this button that said the cover was closed, in order to play it. I have no idea why...
I had this game as a kid, and played the hell out of it. This brings up good memories... Too bad you didnt played the single player mode, because it includes really cheesy cutscenes before and after each fight
seriously.. did they REALLY need to add a trademark and rights reserved label beside EVERY damn character's name in the game??? wtf.
You guys didn't do the code for ultimate battle 27
I tried and couldn't pull it off, sorry!
This was my first DBZ game! I really liked it as a kid.
Hey fellas. Is the podcast no more?
Not sure if the game is slow or if I have trained enough to watch these fighters fight at the speed of sound.
Wow a 15 minute video and Kirb only mentioned voice acting once. Good job keeping it in check Chris. ;p
It was difficult to contain.
So, wasn't this the US port of DBZ Hyper Dimension from the Super Famicom from I think 1993 or 94? It wasn't released in the US until 2001 I'm surprised this hasn't become super rare yet.
This game is nothing compare to Hyper Dimension, Dragon Ball Z: Hyper Dimension is actually pretty good and with better moves and animations.
Legacy of Goku 2 and Buu's Fury were amaaaazing.
I used to play this A LOT when I was younger... basically I unlocked every character and then got disappointed because nothing else happened
this shows amazing
What's the song at 7:49?
I had this game when it came out in the states, and i had no clue who half the cast was because the show at that point was only up to the Frieza saga
I can't stride with this different intro.
This is like the flat-headed Servo of Continue.
Budokai 3, the Budokai Tenkaichi games (the first one's rather limited with the combat though), Legends, Legacy of Goku II, Buu's Fury, and the Super sonic warriors games are pretty good games.
Hi Kirb.
Oh man, what is that song played at the Alice in Wonderland part?
I remember seeing this game at K-Mart and wanting it almost to the point of tears. And then I got it. And then I was all like, ohhh....
ALWAYS BET DBZ
!dbz3 Kappa

The mexiDamage tho..

Was that animatedtron at the end? Drunksravaganza 2 was not as promised guys.
