    Hereingbone does not need the threat on the right outside. Go up through the left side and the thread will not show.

    • @aliciagrether8818
      @aliciagrether8818 Місяць тому +3

      When you go up through the left side you are square stitching and you lose the V shape that is the whole appeal of herringbone.

      Thx. I just came to check if anyone said this. I've never had thread showing on herringbone stitch. Also I go down one bead on right, the up two beads on the left. 😉

    I did not like seeing the thread on the outside. I love the pattern. I agree with #34 this is my issue as well.

    • @Potomacbeadco
      @Potomacbeadco  14 днів тому

      I know this is an issue for some but you honestly cannot see it. Especially using a thread color that closely matches the color of your beads.

    Não gostei da filmagem. Parte da ação está abaixo e/ou fora da tela. E, também, eventualmente fora de foco. O inicio do trabalho, que me pareceu importante para a minha compreensão da estrutura, eu nao pude acompanhar os detalhes.

    So I was unaware that in the Herringbone stitch there will be a thread viable on the outside of some of the beads. Is that correct?

    • @Potomacbeadco
      @Potomacbeadco  13 днів тому

      Yes but you really won't be able to see it, especially if you use a thread that is close in color to the beads you are using.

  • @terigrego6053
    @terigrego6053 Місяць тому

    don't you see the thread when you go down 2 skip 1 bead up 2 i would think you will see the thread, on the 1 bead you skip, I haven't tried it

    • @Potomacbeadco
      @Potomacbeadco  29 днів тому

      You really can't see it. It also depends on the color of thread you choose. DragonThread comes in white, black, gray, green, golden tan and in 3 sizes, 5 (very thin), 6 (medium thickness), and size 8 (thick). Feel free to browse our DragonThead! www.potomacbeads.com/wire-stringing/dragonthread/DragonThread.html
