  • Ichiran is one of Japan’s most famous ramen restaurants. Ichiran is ramen restaurant that you order and pay through a vending machine.
With individual booth seats, it is very appealing for those who are looking to dine alone and have some private time by themselves.

Man, is it actually a good place for family? I‘m going in near future with my family to Japan and I‘d like to get some ramen there at ichiran. But I was wondering if it‘s that fitting for a family. Did you get some experience? Might share some with me? 😅

Is it weird to want the noodles on the softer side? I've only ever seen people order the firm ones. Or is it like steak? "Well done" is offered in restaurants but everybody knows that "Medium rare" is the way to go?

There is nothing wrong with ordering soft noodles. Statistically, many people may order hard noodles, but it is perfectly acceptable.

Well I think that it's perfectly okay. I am on the 'soft noodle' side

Definitely not weird personally I don't like it soggy and the hot soup will make it soft overtime

9:01 I guess the translation to German was made with an good, ol‘ friend. The google translator. The „change“ is actually „Wechselgeld“ but „Veränderung“ has the same translation is more commonly used. No critic or anything, don‘t get me wrong. I just thought that‘s funny. 😂

Is it possible to order without meat? I only eat chicken, lamb meat and maybe fish sometimes, idk if it’s because of how long it’s been sense I’ve eaten other types but if it’s possible it would be nice

You can order only ramen without meat. However, the soup contains pork bone extract.

If you pre-purchase the ramen noodle refill, then you will receive a tray. You can put it on the sensor only when you are ready for your refill. However, if you order the refill, they will do it for you to play a sound, and they can make the order immediately.

Can you order without mushrooms, seaweed, and egg? Just a question because I wouldn’t want to come off disrespectful if I ever get the chance to go and I waste food.

I added toppings, but if you order the simplest ramen, you won't get mushrooms, seaweed, and egg.👍

not what you should want in life? why are you ruling over what someone should want in life? some people who don't like social interaction as much would say otherwise, and it's not even wrong at all.

    • @CastleArchon

Yes, there are a lot of people in Japan who accept this lifestyle...and a have lot of sucicidal tendencies. No, I don't think it is something to emulate.

@@CastleArchon i heard that some of japanese people are suicidal because of them overworking and stuff, i never heard about this one, but it can become a possibility. but still, there's something called introvert and you can't force them to go to places with loads of social interaction just because you like it. being one is tough asf man, it's more like what we're more comfortable about.
