I would’ve never thought to discuss this, but it is such a common thing for babies and toddlers!! Both of our boys had “night nights”... lol. Jake had an elephant “night night” (an elephant attached to a little blanket) that we have saved, because it was the only thing that was familiar to him when he was airlifted back in 2018. It’s weird, but I’m so grateful to that little you for being there when I couldn’t.
Thanks Andrei for sharing that! Sometimes it’s those “night night”s that really help our kids to weather through when times are tough. We can’t overlook the sense of security they find with these objects. Every time I hear about your story of Jake having to be airlifted I can’t fathom the degree of anxiety you must have went through! 👏👏👏
@@DaddyDirective, absolutely, man! We can definitely take those little pieces of cloth for granted. Honestly, I don’t know who felt more secure with it; Jake or me. Lol. Our kids find security in sometimes the strangest of objects, and it’s important to tolerate it, as weird as the items can be, until they learn to develop that sense of security in their own. Great video, man!
I guess in that particular instance it was for the benefit of both of you! 😉 we just have to hope that they choose something that can be washed lol thanks always for your support!
