👋 Hey friends! It's crazy to be exploring Kabul as the first episode of this new series. We'll be travelling in many other regions in *Afghanistan* . Hopefully you enjoy all the upcoming episodes!
My dear brother, Taliban are the smartest and most understanding people in the world, if you have permission to film, no one can stop you or say anything bad to you.
I appreciate your perspective. While experiences can vary, it's worth noting that many visitors find Kabul to be open and welcoming. In my own visits, I haven't encountered filming restrictions, and locals generally appreciate tourists exploring and capturing the beauty of the city. The vibrant markets you mentioned are part of the rich cultural tapestry, and while some shopkeepers may approach you, it's often a friendly gesture rather than a restriction. It's also worth highlighting the historical sites like the Babur Gardens and the National Museum, which showcase the city's rich heritage. Despite challenges, Kabul's resilience and warmth can leave a lasting positive impression on visitors.
Indeed. In my case I found Kabul a bit more challenging to film but other regions are certainly a bit easier with a professional camera. I enjoyed those markets and people were generally friendly and curious about someone coming from abroad. Babur Gardens was fascinating, that view! Anyway, thanks for watching and more videos are coming up 🙏
Hello from iraqi kurdistan, seriously you are such brave and amazing content creator. This video was stunning, i loved very much indeed, but i am just wondering why you dont have a guide with u ? Cuz in a place like this we all need someone to help us and take care of us, plus let us know that what to do and what not to do! BEST OF LUCK MY FRIEND, and i hope to see u one day in my country.
Hey! Thanks a lot and glad you liked the video! I had a local fixer to help with the logistics for driving to different places and some translations 🙏 Hope in the future I can visit Iraqi Kurdistan!
I've been waiting for Ale to go to Afghanistan!!! I mean after Yemen, what would be a better war torn nation that. What i like most about Ale's videos are that he takes time to talk to the locals. We don't just get his perspective but those from the actual people who live there. To me that's the real value when traveling. Also, he puts the names of all the places/streets on the screen so i can use them as references if i decide to travel there. Hes always thinking about his audience/viewers so i really appreciate that. What i hope to see in this series is what ALL OTHER youtubers don't do while in Afghanistan - talk and interview the women. Ale always delivers in his content and i'm never disappointed. I hope this series is no different!
Thank you very much and welcome to the beginning of the series! I have something in mind for the end of the series but let's see how it goes, there might be something around those lines you described. 🙏🏼
I’m very interested in this series- since there are several videos in this series- I’m assuming you stayed safe. What a journey into a country rarely seen in a candid way
That is an expensive tin. The currency there has seen better days. Even with just your phone you make the most incredible films! LOVE LOVE LOVE the photo shoot. That bread does look delicious! This is going to be an amazing series.
Thanks for entertaining us it was refreshing for us. And don’t worry we are not always about fighting we are poetic warriors who love humanity. Being polite humble and welcoming is part of our genetics of course world only knows the other resistance war cry side of us but now you experienced how poor economically and how rich in heart ❤
Hey Ale first of all welcome to our country Afghanistan . I hope u had a nice journey in the country I have a tip for you, you don’t need to think twice about your recording you can do record all the time except when a lady come to the frame rest you’re allowed to film it’s completely okay and there is no prohibition for that. Keep it up thank you for showing the real face of our country to the world Enjoy your moments ,peace out .
Thanks for the tips and welcome to the channel! I think in Kabul was a bit more “uncommon” based on people’s reactions but in other regions looks fine 🙏🏼
Thanks for a great video! Question, you stated that many people were asking if you were American, was this in a negative way? Do you think it’s safe for Americans to go? Thank you!
Gracias, Ale!
Afghanistan has a lots of beauties , but you need a well experienced person to take you and show you around. You will be amazed. Thank you for your efforts.
Welcome bro to Afghanistan. Don't be afraid cause our people are not wild to Catch you. Our people use internet, drive car, go college, university, due to war they look like angry.
Haha thanks! It was fine, just tried to highlight that in Kabul it was a bit trickier to film but in other regions this is better. Stay tuned for the next episodes and welcome to the channel 🙏🏼
Welcome to Afghanistan 🇦🇫 brother and don’t believe the western media the show not the reality Afghanistan is save you can go everywhere brother ❤️❤️❤️
I have seen many clips on UA-cam where people and tourists film easily and without any problem or hassles but I think you need permission from one of the ministries there.
If want to explore a country so as media call it dangerous country who never been there as said by propagandists unless you for yourself is totally different enjoy your trip is more safe than America in our country afghanistan as of 2023 Bienvenido a nuestro hermoso país afganistán
Muchas gracias! That was my intention, to really show the human side and at the end we all want to be happy. There's good and bad people in every country in the world :) Welcome to the channel and thanks for watching again, let's keep exploring 🙌
Had given little thought to life in Afghanistan after the Americans left. Very interesting. I need to learn more in order to understand why civil life has not recovered to the extent it has it Iraq before commenting more fully on what I have seen and heard (and NOT seen and NOT heard) here...
Hola Ale, que bien, que has llegado a Afganistán. Espero que vayas a tener una interesante experiencia en mi país. Puedes grabar lo que quieras sin problema, solamente tienes que evitar a las mujeres. Suerte.
Hi,that’s great u are in Afghanistan 🇦🇫 Why don’t u get permission letter from the government and then u can film any where or any time in Kabul, this is what all UA-camers do.don’t be secretive about your camera 🎥 in Kabul.they will not tell u no for filming.u can talk louder and laugh 😆 in Afghanistan 🇨🇦
I think why filming is more difficult with you is cause you look too local and people dont want to be filmed. Foreigners who are clearly not from the region are more forgiven because they dont know better. You just look like any Afghan who lived some time outside.
Hello brother Be chill and stop anywhere you want use the word Salam alikom , learn basic how are you in dari “ khob aste “ in Pashto “ senga ey “. Try to show to people your foreigner you will be treated very well ❤️🙌. Afghans are shy people until you start to contact them and start to greet and joke then you are all set ❤️🙌. In regards to recording go for it as long as it is publicly allowed people don’t mind it, probably woman don’t like to be on social media just to keep in mind.
Hey Imran, thanks for the kind words, tips and welcome to the channel! I definitely experienced the kindness of people there, just a bit challenging some areas in Kabul to film what I wanted but as seeing other regions in Afghanistan, I can see it's not like that everywhere. An interesting series ahead! Again, thanks for being here and welcome! 🙌
I have no issues with Taliban they are very good to us they take care of us we felt safe .No problems with checkpoint when being asked we said we are tourist and they even told our driver to take good care of us . We are going again in 2024 .
Now I understand why the US pulled out. I guess they aren't stable enough to police their own areas, as giving them equipment to defend themselves would be much more beneficial to sell it and buy food. They need more time then normal to develop as they uphold traditions. Their merchandise seems too intricate and detailed to be profitable.
It only took you three years "to understand" why US pulled out - not bad. However, based on your comment, you are still very much in the dark on the issue.
Do not wear that hats Taliban didn't like it coz of slaver of invaders who helped American troops in war they wear that hats so have good journey and welcome to Afghanistan 💥☝️💥
