What happened to the original CH701? They just seem to be getting heavier and more expensive. Light Sport STOL is now so good, I should have bought & built one 20yrs. ago. Shame one can't live in a small aircraft, I built a house instead...
I have the HomeBuiltHelp videos for my CH750. For the skins supplied by Zenith, did you sand / debur / polish the edges of the skin from where they were cut out of the raw aluminum?
@eimb1999 it's easier. I have assembled 3 different kitplanes in the same amount of man hours one of my friends has taken to assemble his twin jet engine Model airplane!
Not a good idea. The crankshaft might not hold up. But there are several engines that are based on the VW engine that have been designed for aircraft use...
do you think you saved much $ by building the kit? or is it about doing the build itself? thanks

No cross bracing in the fuselage?

Always debur the edges.
