I fear Starship doesnt even know how special Yeonjung can be. I know other main vocalist in the group is very good too but just watching her on PD101, one will know she's on another level. She really should have debuted solo or in a smaller group.
Trust me do they, she's only one of the main vocals in the group but she clearly gets all the high notes and a lot of parts unlike cough dawon cough

I’m pretty sure Starship do know how good she is since she is utilised as the vocal powerhouse of the group and gets all of the hardest parts.
Also I don’t agree that she should be in a different group. The WJSN girls invited her to join and she accepted. She’s happy with them clearly and I don’t think we should want her to lose that happiness from being with all of her friends just for her to shine more when she shines plenty in this group anyway. Her happiness and satisfaction should come first.

연정이 기존 장점으로 평가받는 고음이나 댄스 라이브 능력이 보통 아이돌 보컬에게 많이 평가되는 능력치지만 사실 뮤지컬이나 발라드나 다른장르에서 저음이 듣는사람 안정감을 좌우하는게 많고 저음이 탄탄한건 진짜 다른 레벨임 근데 우리 연정이 너무 잘하네.. 스킬 그대로 가지고 음 내려가는게 되게 안정적이어서 감탄
진짜 이 보컬은 확신의 우량주다 앞으로 10년 20년 장기투자 자신있다

Strange. This video has no English subtitles yet virtually all of the comments are in English !! (including mine lol) The double challenge was to not only sing low but to match the lower and lower pitches as they happened in real time. No problem for Yeonjung. You instantly know this voice when you hear it. Not many singers (if any) can match this power, this expression, this range. And yet beyond all of this, how can she get prettier as the years go by and then on top of that improve so much on the dancing including free style. We won't see many with this level of talent.
