I’ve lifted a few floor sheathings off the subfloor in the past, this system is as good as it gets. Well done sir. It’s a lot of work, but so gratifying once it’s done. Hope you follow up with part 2. Cheers 🇨🇦
Did this just go through the screws and nails? I have the same situation - glued down OSB with staples and screws and nails, on a plywood subfloor. I am gearing myself up to tackle this. Any advice?
@@peteeastwood1635 Thanks, Pete! I talked to the tool rental guys and they mentioned the importance of using a dull blade, not to gouge into the plywood - but you speak to that and it seems to be all about technique. I have a ton of nails and screws, so I feel I'll need something that cuts through the heads. If you are in BC, let me know! Would love to pick your brain.

Yes. It cuts nails but mostly pushes them up and out of the plywood.
Get a roto hammer and put a wide 2 1/2 inch wide blade sds in it. That also works well.

Yes a sharp blade at the right angle is great. I kept a cordless grinder nearby to put an edge on the blade as you work.
Is that a saws all where did you get the adapter? Do they sell those blades at homedepot
Would this be the right tool to remove glued laminate? What's the tool called?
I'd use a rotohammer with a wide flat scraper blade and angle as parallel to the subfloor as functional.
