Hello Autumn Moto, You're making an effort and doing a really good job. A tip from me: you should definitely do the sanding and polishing of the engine housing and engine cover in a room specially set up for this purpose, because the sanding dust, consisting of tiny aluminum particles and the polishing agents, spreads throughout your workshop and settles everywhere, even on the engine parts that are already finished. You can tell this because if you wipe the finished parts with a white cotton cloth, the cloth will turn black in that spot. Greetings from Germany: Werner
So far so good. But i think you did not use these solder connectors correctly. The tin in the middle need to be heated until liquid to provide an correct connection. You only shrinked the tube around.
i has restore and repair many many bike and car same procress need make perfect if make, some car lincoln continental,cadillac eldorado,jaguar, some ford town car, many honda bike 550four,750four,350cc,twin, etc has restore, i love build alltime somethink. thats girl work have enjoy watch.

i love looking someone other make same than i make, build and restore good, if not can restore good better not do anythink. i hate peoples who not use right tools and not make all perfect good because all have open can make all same time small job make perfect, hate peoples who not change bearings and seal if all have open, cheap change all same time if engine have open. not need worry some seals or bearing many many year if not change need worry and open again all same work.
