I grew up with the Accused as did Lamb of God. They cite them as an influence. The 80's were pioneering years, just about every underground genre today can be traced back to it. But to say LOG ripped them off is an entirely different matter It's a serious claim that requires proof. Art's not made in vacuum - the notion that the lone artist reaches into the some self-willed ether and pulls out an a truly new piece of art is romanticized bullshit.
