Hip mobility and proper stretching are the most underrated and underutilized tools in the toolbox. I'm 50, and just now realized I would have been a better athlete in college had I stretched. Properly. The tight end coming across the middle doesn't care about your 400 bench press when he can out run you, and out jump you, due to superior hip mobility. Better late than never!
I remember as a 14 year I was very inflexible, couldn’t touch my toes even less do splits, now at 23 i can almost do front flips and can touch my toes with ease
You are absolutely right about the discipline when you get older. I can do things at 54 I've never dreamed in my 20s and 30s, and I did spend most of my life in gyms.
I've neglected stretching when I would do crossfit back in the day and now I see how important it is to give it at least 15mnts of my time in addition to Prehab which has totally changed my life for the better 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Dude is legit and this is the way- don't have to get wrecked trying to do all the flips; the training progressions are great, even if you don't max them out. Kudos
First time making a comment Adam. Thank you for all your instructions . So far at 54 doing hand and head stands, plus the human L then rolling into the tucked planchet. I surprised myself. Lol. Yet to do a full planchet. Going to join your training app. Soon. Thank you very much.
Even at 6,1...206lbs. My triceps and biceps are cutting and enlarging. Incredible. I'm trying to get down to 190-195lbs intermittent fasting healthy eating, and vitamins and minerals twice daily.
Hi Adam A very good video. How would you strengthen the Rectus Femoris? The principal muscle in leg raises. Thanks. Do you have a detailed split squat tutorial?
What is correct angle of feet in cossack squat? I was taught to keep my feet aligned with fingers facing forward (not in slight angle), what is your opinion? Thanks

"Everyone's favourite"😂 I've tried several times to force myself to love the sitting leg raises but never succeeded😂
Maybe start with single leg then 😂
@@TheDragster09 Still annoys me like hell. I'd rather run 10km than doing that😭
😂
Don't force the love - let it come naturally 😁👏 I remember when I started doing straddle holds, it felt impossible to begin with.

Could you make a video on the role and training of the trapezius in gymnastics?
Will do

Using the leg extension machine with some hip flexion at the end can help

My pleasure!
A very well structure video ❤
informative and crisp...
what about abductors and how to train the rotation aspect?
These are just the essentials, I’ll make more videos about those I just didn’t want to make it too long!
Another great video (btw, love the seated leg raise)
Thanks!

Glad you liked it
what about lengthening the hip flexors?
Best video❤
I have become a lot more flexible in the last year, but feel like i become a lot more stiff on rest days. Do you have any advice?
Get more movement on rest days
Do you have a video like this for your shoulders?
What is correct angle of feet in cossack squat? I was taught to keep my feet aligned with fingers facing forward (not in slight angle), what is your opinion? Thanks
Can my 10 year old son follow the program with me or there is a different Gymnastics Method for kids?
I'm thinking about joining on your website, but I don't see a link to the app for Windows pc or Android phone. Can you point me to those please?
Here is the link for Android: play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.virfortis.gymmethod
@@GymnasticsMethod Thanks. Do you have one for Windows PC?

Where are you from? I've noticed you are saying "fingers" instead of "toes" like Europeans do.
