The fact that nicki was rapping this hard and good during her underground years way before the mainstream success, and 15 years later still comes with fresh flows, fresh cadences, fresh bars, now I don't call myself a barb because there's definitely been a handful of songs during her 15 years that I don't listen to because I don't like some of them but I still will never deny the fact that this woman is Beyond super talented and gifted

This is a top fave of mine. This is the Nicki/Wayne era that changed me from a fan to a "barb". She was killing all of these features/remixes on EVERYONE's songs in 2009-2010. Like you said, she and Wayne were hot back then. This is when I started listening to Nicki more than Wayne. Even before "Monster", she could have released >3 albums with just songs she was featured on in those two years alone. Then at the end of 2010, after two years of feeding us, she dropped Pink Friday. She had already given us so much back then while people were truly sleepin' on her. And she was literally just getting started. Queen.

Nicki lyricism is unmatched. Ok maybe by Em. Her brain wired uniquely like Wayne with wordplay and entendres. COLD LIKE A WHITE BEAR? To rhyme with nightmare. Who the hell thinks of white bear? Something so simple but illustrates the Queen's skills not wasting lines. She and Wayne will never be topped. "I can turn nuns to tricks" LMFAO. This was the song Beyonce recorded in 15 minutes just 15 minutes after hearing the demo before catching a plane. By the "turn the lights on guy" who wrote it and sang the demo and recorded her and put his vocals to the background.

Uh this song is like a time warp. 🕰️🌀it still sounds good. I don’t remember this remix being as popular as the orginal, but the radio edit was on nonstop over here. I love hearing Nicki on a zany, almost uncanny, electronic instrumental.
