Let me share my part of the story...
I did instrumentation engg 2016-2020 from so called good clg(SEC). Major job req are for software jobs. Selection of course is not important of passion. Clg selection is the crucial part. Do engg only if you believe u r taking the right course in the right college. Don't do engg just because someone says.currently I'm placed in an IT company with good package. During final yr My college took my name from placement for core companies.
