I love eyeshadow, a bit of sparkle can really lift my mood when I’m getting for work in the morning (I’m not a morning person so I need all the help I can get). I’m not throwing out my eyeshadow palettes for anyone xx

Lol 😂 I said I thought you said eyeshadow is so out Lala get with the times? She laughed and said I didn’t mean it! Yeah sure you didn’t lol! Did I send her what I had that she wanted, of course I did. ☺️💜

Young people saying eyeshadow looks old means nothing to me, because honestly, their green hair, mandatory septum piercings and the random lines they draw around their eyes with graphic liner all look 'young' to me, and that's not a compliment. And I don't care if that sounds mean; their opinion is not exactly kind either, although of course I understand us 'old' people have to be kinder to the kids than they are to us, because they aren't mature yet. But still. One day they'll be old and people will be saying you know they're old because they have septum piercings and graphic liner. 🤣🤣 Plus, all these kids are rockin the 90's styles I ACTUALLY wore in the 90's, so........ they're all copying us old people at the same time they're mocking our style.

I’m 20…..eyeshadow is still cool at least for me. I think most people my age though don’t use eyeshadow because it’s tedious and they’d rather have a one and done type of look. I at least will always wear my bright colored eyeshadow with pride.
Younger girls on tik tok will do a full face of makeup, but skip eyes completely except brows. I could never, I love eye makeup so much it’s my favorite part. Also I look terrible without mascara, people think I’m sick or tell me I look tired.

There was definitely a lull in eyeshadow releases there for a hot minute BUT now there’s so many gorgeous eyeshadow palettes and products that have been released! The Indi Brands are killing it with their products and packaging!

We’ve already discussed the Patrick Ta duo shadows in your last video $42 dollars is outrageous! They are gorgeous but I could purchase a Indi palette or another brand that have beautiful special glitter shades!
I felt the same way about the new Makeup by Mario ethereal moonlight palette! I was shocked at myself. It’s very pretty and the looks I’ve watched are amazing but it didn’t speak to me personally. I want to be cool 😎 with young kids and feel cool, feel accepted and loved but his new palette just didn’t wow me like I thought it would! I’m skipping it which is probably an unpopular opinion.
I haven’t seen the new holiday sets that Natasha Denona minis! It’s very pretty! Wasn’t it Taylor who had the cute mini eyeshadow palette minis?! Seeing the Natasha Denona I need a warm palette in person is so beautiful! I love purple shades, I have green eyes and those shades make my eyes pop! The new Roxa palette packaging looked so beautiful and I was really excited for purple shades! When I saw the inside I saw a lot of pinks. I wish there were more purple shades but after I watch your review I could change my mind.

There always seems to be a lull in eyeshadow releases in jul/Aug until the fall and halloween releases bombard us in sep/oct along with holiday sets/collections before the indies release their holiday palettes. Black fri around the corner, everyone needs to get their releases out so the early adapters buy at full price before they have a sale for black fri. Just a thought.
First of all I’m offended 😂 eye shadow is fun. I’m just very bad at time management so I dont wear it as much anymore but it’s definitely for the young too 😂

I feel so naked without eyeshadow (and bronzer) LOL it’s crazy to think of my routine without at least a sparkle all over the eye!
Sam! Get the Moonlight Mario situation, I've been wearing it for days. I love the way it blends and wears. It twinkles. It doesn't work if you try to build up the sparkling shades or if you try to foil them. But if you pat on a glitter glue tap your finger in the sparkling shade and just tap that amount on the lid and then dust literally any mid tone shade in the crease, then any dark tone on the lash line - fire. Don't try to do every shade in one look. And the dark shades - 1 dot with your liner brush using zero pressure and will have loaded enough pigment to do 20 eyeliner applications, they are DARK and this palette is literally less is more than enough, otherwise you'll hate it. If do it right, keep it simple and you will look like an angel.

@SamanthaMarchxo I've seen a lot of - it doesn't work for me videos, because they used 8 shades. You only need 3 MAX. The matte shades are the kind that you can manipulate to look like you used multiple shades by building and bending. And the sparkling shades are meant to twinkle and look glossy, they look a whole mess if you pack them on or use spray with them. Honestly I wiped them with my finger across my lid this morning without glitter glue, it was stunning. I've had dudes comment on my eyes - dudes that have seen me wear eyeshadow regularly for years. There's something about the tiny sparse twinkles catching the light that their brains notice. It's been weird.
I don’t know if eyeshadow palettes are dead. It makes me wonder since Huda won’t be making her large palettes anymore. Nonetheless I spent money on mine and I will wear them. I have super light hair, skin and eyes, very low contrast. I need something! I always have done what I like. I never wore a thin brow, skinny jeans or shimmery inner corner highlight. I might wear a matte white or brightening cream or very light pink but that is it.
While I remain a lover of eyeshadow palettes, this new ND palette couldn’t be less interesting to me (not a shade family that I’m a fan of) - and my wallet thanks me!

I think eyeshadow is still in, but small are more popular and big pallets are out. I personally don’t see lots of younger people wearing lots of eyeshadow anymore or even older people even in party situations. The clean 90’s makeup look is so in. No more paint scraper makeup is in. Thank god. 😂
