I've been raving since 1989 - originally reggae and dub - then jungle 1993 into D&B - had an innings of note. This track hands down just FIRES... it's a perfect embodiment of pure, ferocious, d&b pressure, gets me so hyped every time.... really genius execution. IRAH is just nasty! Video is also top notch - it all comes together as a true force of nature. If ya don't feel 'dis ya dead! Smashing video production too.
You were lucky to experience the acid house and beginning of hardcore era.
@@ntrnlgrv1991 - 1994 were pretty raw. Then 1995 onwards more intelligent drum and bass - LTM Bukem / Fabio @ Speed and other great clubs in London.
This takes me back to my old raving days. I left the scene about 18 yrs back as the music got bare fast and was becoming more like techno than D&B so l moved to Uk Drill music. This was really nostalgic for me. Loved it. ❤

I remember the first time I heard this. I definetely wassn't prepared and I wish I could relive that moment again. There was even a friend of mine that showed this to his mom. It's amazing how everybody knew that this would become a classic right when it came out.

I was a big d&b head back in the days of tech itch, dom & roland, evol intent, etc and used to frequent the DogsOnAcid boards daily. Then life got in the way and I moved on when “clown step” started getting prevalent (wouldn’t necessarily say I grew out of it cause once a drum and bass head, ALWAYS A DRUM AND BASS HEAD). Only this past month I just happened to stumble on BADDADAN and it immediately drew me back in! That led me to the legendary Boiler Room set and now I can officially say I’m back in! This banger has everything I love: heavy breaks, dumb filthy bass, and dancehall. This shit is fcking INSANE! The vibes are IMMACULATELY DIRTY
