El Boquetillo is a neighborhood in the city of Fuengirola, in the province of Málaga, Spain. It is a recently formed neighborhood, emerging in 1964, when the first buildings began to be built in the area.
The Mural Walk in the El Boquetillo neighborhood of Fuengirola was officially opened last year and consisted of 17 large-scale murals painted on the facades of buildings in the area. The murals, included within the city council's Edusi project, have been installed mainly on Valladolid and La Paz streets, along with a huge mural painted all over the exterior of the indoor market.
El Boquetillo, has been decorated with a series of colourful murals to improve the image of the neighbourhood.
This is the heart of the neighbourhood knows as El Boquetillo. This is a lively local neighbourhood with a strong community spirit.
For weeks now, several exceptional murals have been shining in the El Boquetillo neighborhood, in Fuengirola, that have renewed the image of the area. Among them is the exceptional mural by the Sevillian artist Fabián Bravo, a muralist-graffiti artist who goes by the stage name of Kato can tell everyone that one of his murals is among the 25 best in the world. Also that of Nesui, an artist from Malaga who also has his work among the selection. Both have been chosen by the prestigious Street Art Cities to fight to be the best in the world last June.
