This is another great album by the Dixie Hummingbirds that I have in my collection.

Yes I knew Mr Bobo very well My grandfather would take me with him to his home in North Philadelphia. He was a cool brother I'm glad I had the pleasure of knowing him !

my father loved this group and passed that loved on down to me and my sisters he's gone on but thanks be to God for these recording he thought he was a dixie bird love ya Almaclyde bursey when i listen to recording i know you have them in person during a concert

I cannot say who is the better lead in Ira Tucker or James Walker as the lead vocalist in the Dixie Hummingbirds.
Equally match..both are great singers
They both were great, however, Ira's timing and vocal energy is better than any I've ever heard.
