It is possible to go into an actual trance state, at which point you're under hypnosis being guided by someone who knows nothing about hypnosis. That is a very dangerous situation to put yourself in.

It takes 2 people to play Red Door, Yellow Door so that one person can be the guide and the other person can be the one in the trance. It’s also okay for other people to watch, as long as they’re quiet while the game is being played. As the leader, it’s the guide’s job to make the subject feel comfortable and relaxed. Sit down cross-legged and place a pillow or blanket in your lap for the subject’s head to rest on Once your head is in their lap and you’re on your back, close your eyes. Raise your hands up in the air and keep them there as you try to start relaxing, Use circular motions as you rub the person’s temples with your fingers. Start chanting, “Red door, yellow door, any other color door” over and over again so the subject starts to go into a trance. It will likely take several minutes for the subject to start visualizing the hallways and doors. The subject may naturally feel that they're going into the trance and lower their arms a little before they fully see hallways or doors, and this is okay too. If you see their hands lower to the ground, it means the game has officially started. Set a timer for 10 minutes once the subject lowers their hands, if you’d like, to keep track of how long the game is going. It's best not to make the subject stay in a trance for too long. The crazy thing is the girl who did the transition didn't mean to put that thing there, nothing was supposed to be there at ALL. After a little deeper diving she found out that it was just her cats tail that lifted into the air, she even made a video saying its her cat to calm the people who saw it.

There was a time, when I was just walking along a street. It was a normal rainy day in the city. But I kept hearing steps behind me, even tho I was walking alone. It confused me until I finally got to realise that the building threw back the sounds of my steps. So the echo of my own steps had me a bit paranoid.
Then there are of course, a few nightmares or mildly scary situations, which happened a few years back, but it's okay as long as you have an explanation.

The game Red Door Yellow Door (also sometimes called “Black Door, White Door” or “Doors of the Mind”) is one of many sleepover games that is sometimes used as a challenge for teenagers and kids, and other times is used as a true test to see if one can experience a supernatural occurrence. We previously wrote about The Midnight Man game and the generally spookiness going on with that.
It’s not just all about the Ouija board anymore.
So what are the rules of Red Door Yellow Door and what do people experience when they play? And have there actually been any deaths related to the game? Lets dive in to this unusual and supernatural game.
Red Door Yellow Door Game Rules
Preparing for the Red Door Yellow Door Game
To prepare, you need to know that there should be at least two people. One person is going to guide the other person. Other people (i.e. spectators or others sleeping over) can be in the room to watch, but they should keep quiet.
1 - Get in Position
The person who is designated the guide will sit on the ground crossed legged, with a pillow on their lap. The person going through this “red door yellow door” adventure will lie down with their head on the pillow.
2 - Relax, Arms Up
The person playing the game: Get comfortable so that you can feel relaxed. Imagine that you are going to meditate. Close your eyes and keep them closed throughout the game. Raise your hands in the air.
3 - Massage and Chant
The person being the guide: massage the temples of the person playing. Begin to chant: “Red door, yellow door, any other color door”… if others are in the room, they can join in. Do this until the person lying down is in a trance. Do this for several minutes. The person is meant to visualize hallways and doors in front of them.
4 - Begin
The guide tells the person that once they see doors in front of them in their mind, lower their hands. That is when you know you can begin. At this time, set an alarm or timer for 10 minutes. The purpose of this is to make sure the person doesn’t stay in a trance too long.
4 - Ask Questions
The guide should then begin asking them questions about what they see as they walk down the hallway.
“Can you describe the hallway?”
“How do you feel about the yellow door? How do you feel about the pink door?”
“Do you see any other objects?”
If they feel generally positive about a door, they can open and go inside. Continue asking them questions about what they see and how they feel about what they see.
Things to Look Out for When Playing Red Door Yellow Door
If You See People
If you see any people, generally stay away from them and walk the other way. In most cases anyone you encounter is likely evil or otherwise is bad news.
If You See Clocks
If you ever see clocks, especially a room full of clocks, leave immediately. They supposedly will trap you in the room.
Where To Go
Although you can go virtually anywhere, as a rule of thumb if you have the opportunity to go up or down stairs or an elevator, go UP.
Color
As a rule of thumb, bright and light colors are better than darker colors. So keep that in mind when roaming.
Being Trapped
If you become trapped in a room, the guide should wake you up immediately. There is supposedly a chance that you could stay in the trance forever.
Man in the Suit
If you see a man in the suit, have the guide wake you up immediately. The rumor is that there is a man in a suit that is very bad news.
If You’re in Danger
If in any other way you feel in danger, have the guide wake you up. They can do this by lightly shaking or nudging you until you open your eyes.
Don’t Die.
Oh. And don’t die. The urban legend is that if you die playing Red Door Yellow Door, you die in real life. So you might want to avoid that.

The yellow and blue game is a game where you close your eyes and you basically have to think of a yellow and blue door. You have to pick a door and whichever door you pick has something in it. One door that makes you can’t open your eyes the other door lets you out. If you pick the wrong door, you could possibly be stuck in that game forever

Scary story that actually happened to me: I was alone at night my parents were in the care and my umbrella was just staying at my front door and I picked it up but I felt someone below it but there was no one I opened the front door while my parents were getting groceries and the stairs light was on when I remembered my parents put it off and then I think I saw a space shifter one time because my mom went upstairs to shower or do something and then she was back downstairs even tho I didn’t see her come downstairs! for those who are wondering yellow and blue game (or red door yellow door) is a game where u lie flat on the ground and put ur hands in the airand u need another person to press above ur ears and push down while repeating “red door yellow door any other colour door” over and over again. apparently ur arms are meant to move down. as soon as ur arms hit the floor the othwr player moves their hands away from ur head. apparently u are meant to see in ur head a room with any amount of doors, take in what u see bc u might need it later.
i was playing with my friends and i was in the realm and i encountered multiple furious and angry spirits, then i felt scratches and punches all over me and i opened my eyes, screaming. i checked my back and there was scratches…all over.

Me and my friends once at a sleep over on Halloween at 3 am we did the red door yellow door game and me and another friend decided to do the game at the same time, it was a bad idea because my friend ended up getting a few marks or her waist from the black suit man. Now some very important rules to follow during the game is, never talk or interact with the people, if you see a room full of clocks, get out of there as soon as possible. If you see a black suit man armed or not, get out as soon as possible. Its always better to go up then down, and always go for the brighter color doors. For example you see a brown or yellow door, you should probably choose the yellow door. and when you try to wake the subject up from the trance, the leader should help by shaking them awake. Now when you begin there will be a leader and a subject. The leader will sit down criss-cross with a pillow in their lap. The subject will be the person entering the trance. 2 people are needed for the game, though more may watch. When the subject is relaxed, they need to put their arms in the air. The leader (and the others if there are any) should start chanting "Red door, Yellow door, any other color door. The leader will rub the subjects temple as they chant. the people watching should stay quiet for the whole time except the chanting. when the subject puts their arms fully to the ground, the subject has now entered the game. Always ask the subject what they see and make sure they are answering, them not answering can lead them to be trapped in the trance like state forever. Ask them if they see doors, what the room looks like etc. But if the subject is nervous about the room or nervous or scared to go into a door, do not force them to. If something bad happens while the subject is in the trance like state, wake them up to end the game. The subject must always keep their eyes closed for the entire game.
