Thank you Dylan, a great complement to what you already do on ON1 Plus. I love ON1 Photo RAW 2024. An incredible job has been done by the developers of ON1 for a clean and yet very functional interface. The addition of AI is definitely a leap forward.
I'm waiting to master this version better before giving my favorite tools... This video is really great and gives an overview of the possibilities. A good stimulant to easily approach this new version. Thanks
Another excellent video from Dylan. My favorite new feature is...SPEED! 2024 is much faster than 2023 which makes processing photos even more of a joy. Great work on this release.
Unfortunately the latest update (2024.3) has been a disappointment. Very slow booting and processing, thumbnails don’t display, exporting is glitchy, and the app constantly freezes (“application not responding”). I’ve downgraded to the 2023 version which is much faster in comparison. It’s a shame considering when I was able to edit several RAW photos, the updated Noise AI is excellent. Hopefully there will be a fix/update in the near future.🤞🏽
@@iastorgaphotos Not seeing any of the problems you mention (MacBook Pro 16, M1 Max, 32GB, latest Sonoma). For me, ON1 runs flawlessly, and I've edited a couple of thousand photos with 2024.3. Perhaps try a clean re-install?
@@jimfriedlander9014 Yes, I’ve reinstalled three times already. I’m glad yours is running smoothly. It gives me a clue that it’s my Mac Mini M1 that may be the problem. Cheers!
Thanks for the quick summary Dylan. 💪 Although I do not get the connection between AI suggested and applied looks and creativity. For me the AI powered tools like masking make the difference and not the ai chosen style of the photo. Happily found the Ai match function in a sub menue of brilliance ai. For me still the best starting point to develop a photo. Hope to get familiar with the new menue system though. Requires more clicks to work at the benefit of a leaner gui. 🤷♂️
@on1 Is there a way to refresh previews in an entire folder, album, etc? Now that I upgraded to 2024, many of my images in multiple folders do not show a preview and I don't want to have to go photo by photo to refresh them. Thanks!
Hello. I am very excited about ON1, but my skills are not great. With a structured background, how can I change this to a solid color e.g. black background.
Hi there, you can make a solid color background by creating a "Color Fill Layer", these can be created using the paint bucket icon in the layers pane - you can also right click any layer and select "Add Color Fill Layer" Thanks for watching :)
I can’t imagine ever using Brilliance AI for anything serious when the haloes around selections like the pickle are so obvious. These aren’t even difficult selections like interlocking branches of a tree. These are buildings with hard, easy edges, and the haloes are still there. But perhaps this feature is aimed at Instagramers who won’t really care.

The program I didn't know I needed. Thank you Dylan!

@@iastorgaphotos If you haven't yet, you might try contacting ON1 support. I hear they are quite helpful. Hope you get it sorted out.
Excellent example of merging layers.
Are you going to do an ON1 course? Really like your presentation style, pace and level of detail.

I am struggling with focus stacking. Could you do an updated version? Specifically using the despeckle and other sliders?
Thank you Dylan.. Excelent tips
I like the composite but wonder if you could suggest one modification. How to lessen the area of the bridge going up her nose. :-)
Thanks , great job guys !
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the tutorial Dylan. Could you remove the background to transparent mode?

You can adjust the mask feather to eliminate the halos.
Could you do a bit of a video on that some time in the future, in various scenarios, to demonstrate the difference? Thanks.
Yes, for sure. the great thing about Photo RAW is you can always fine-tune the masks@@jim_regan
Don't say "sort of" for specific things.
