It's him, there's some slight delay on it but that's all. He's done it live many times mostly in Autumn Strong.

Dimash sings another song called Autumn Strong which is the same melody but with slightly different words but in mandarin. Watch that from his Kiev concert. It has another amazing ending. At his Dubai concert, he sings the first half of the song in mandarin, autumn strong and the second half in Japanese as Ikenaide which satisfies us all as we all have our favourite.
Great reaction Seph. Took me quite a while before I could listen to this song without blubbering. It so reminds me of all the people I know that died from Covid. Losing so many people in such a short time was a bit difficult as I had little practise with loss before then.

This version "Ikanaide" (行かないで) ) is the original, from 1989, composed by Koji Tamaki (famous Japanese singer, born in 1958) with lyrics by Goro Matsui. The version "Autumn Strong" (Late Autumn), sung in Chinese, uses the same song, but has another lyrics (Yaqui Cheung, from 1993) and another theme: It talks about the Japanese actress Yoshiko Yamagushi, very dear to the Chinese, who was deported when they discovered her Japanese origin (his real name was Li Xiang Lan and we're talking about World War II, where Japan was China's enemy) and never returned to China. In the original version, the lyrics are more intimate, sentimental and more recognized worldwide. It means: "Please don't go!". Kōji Tamaki is a Japanese singer-songwriter of Ikanaide and Dimash performed a previous version in Chinese called Autumn strong ua-cam.com/video/FXQ58U-Eddg/v-deo.html this song is based in a true story about Yoshiko Yamaguchi who was born in China, hid her japanese heritage under a chinese name, became very loved. After WWII, her heritage was exposed, she was arrested, accused of being a japanese spy, and sentenced to death. She was ultimately cleared of charges, but was advised to leave the country, as she risked being lynched. Dimash is a master of the story-telling, his voice makes you feel deep emotions and takes you there where that song happened. Beautiful!! A Japanese reactor mentioned that his softness with the hard consonants is a function of how well Dimash understands and has learned the mechanics (tongue and jaw placement) of the Japanese language.
