Could you please make a video talking about the chords & scales you use? I love the gear you show here (I have a BHS, centered on my board lol), but truly the best sounds us guitarists make come from the notes we choose to play. As someone entirely self taught, I’d love to hear from someone making these sounds, how they see the fretboard, and what how they choose to play.
Hey Paul here! I really appreciate this question and I'll do my best to provide some kind of answer. I took a lot of jazz and classical lessons as a teenager that built on the basics of music theory I'd learned from piano lessons but honestly a lot of my choices are instinct based when I'm trying to invoke a certain feeling. I really really really like inverting chords, and choosing notes based on what I think it should "feel" like to hear that note as opposed to the closest octave version of the note (ie sliding up the neck as opposed to the note that's a string over). I generally just pick a key and start riffing on it, sometimes hitting the relative scales for inspiration. I hope this helps answer the question!
@@thepedalcollaborative maybe deeper fuzz territory ( or a comparative with the singularity - does the clipping mode change a lot with the blackhole - ) .....and the others two ....but the real deal is without interface (just a few people do this but it's actualy a lot more informative .....if you can ?

Thank you very much! Love the skeleton.
We love the BHS!!! Paul likes to add flair, hence the skeleton :)
great review ...maybe the best of this pedal ....maybe a longer one soon ?! Hope you'll do another one
We’d be happy to do a longer one! What would you like us to cover?

@pumpkins6293 what do you mean by “without interface”? Just want to make sure I’m understanding correctly
