I feel like when Andrew said what he did before the 2013 investigation would be me because I'm eager. I've finally been to the penitentiary, this was in November 2020, but I only did a daytime guided tour. I did have a paranormal experience though. We were in the hallway where New Wall, PC, and Honor Hall are and we heard the disembodied gunshot that Ryan heard. Needless to say it made me jump as well. And like Ryan that really made me wanna come back and investigate the spirit side of the West Virginia Penitentiary. I didn't believe in the paranormal until then. That experience Dave had with Steve in the basement, that black mass? That was freaky. Great video guys as always! Wish y'all luck with every investigation
Haha! Searched investigations in West Virginia Penitentiary since my mom and I were interested in doing one after a tour we were on this week and came across this. Turns out my tour guide, Ryan, is the creator of this video and investigation group.

There have been a few occasions in which we've individually had spirits follow us home. Nothing permanent.

My Dad was a CO, on duty, the night Rusty killed Red. My dad said it was the worst thing he’d ever witnessed. Very violent.

Oh wow! He would’ve loved that! He sadly passed away 3 years ago. Lost his battle with diabetes. But thank you so much for offering, really.
He had so many stories he could’ve told you guys too...Real life to odd things happening.
After they closed the prison and opened it for tours he worked maintenance for a few years. He was in Fear, the MTV production talking about it...then in a small independent film they made at the prison called Correct Change. His name was Gregory “Gabby” Hayes. Everyone mostly new him as Gabby.
I enjoy watching the WV state Penn ones the most cuz of my dad so thank you!
I never really got into watching these about the paranormal because it always seems like bullshitters..lol..but you guys are the real deal. 👍🏼

Can't believe I gave up my Saturday night watching an amateurishly produced video of a paranormal investigation...AND AM GLAD THAT I DID!! (^_^) I get that these investigations are not gonna be travelchannel-ready, but you guys seem earnest and willing to have an honest go at this stuff. Go for you guys. Time and, with it, experience are the best teachers. I wouldn't know the first thing about doing an investigation properly or thoroughly, but y'all seem to be on the right track. guys at 15 mins when you said you saw something theres a massive shadow figure right at the front and its not any of your shadows(correct me if im wrong) , i love your work and plz keep the vids coming, i was/will always be a paranormal researcher but prefer to watch your videos than go out myself now, i found what i was searching for, so i know exactly what your feeling when your out there, stay safe and keep up the brilliant quests xx

the exact time was 14.41 look at the far end of the hall way, i thought it was one of you but i kept looking at it and i dont think it is , please let me know if im wrong lol, im intrigued now and spending the night watching all the vids ive missed, well worth staying up for i must add :)
Pamela Tucker Pamela, I do see what you're talking about here! We discussed this whilst editing this episode. This in fact, was Ryan filming behind me while I was filming. Does that make sense? His IR light cast my shadow & my camera picked it up. Very good eye and thanks for the heads up!

Unexplained shuffling noises - Rats or mice its an old building.
The lead investigator, I think his last name is Zacharell (something like that) and the other two young men. I saw a big difference in all their appearances when comparing the investigations of 2013 and 2014. Gone are the young teenage features on all three of them. They look like men, now. They don't look like teenagers. Very handsome men.
I live close to this penitentiary and there is an investigation event coming up soon that you can go tour. I'm interested in seeing things like this but I'm not sure if I'd be able to handle coming face to face with things like this. What ways can I overcome my fear and prepare myself if something does show itself like that?

I was just thinking at the same time, if I were there, I'd be having on Steve's arm. I think he is a cuttie anyhow so it would be fine ...yes, I'm a cougar!! Whatever..

reconstx5 We are constantly filming! However, the editing and uploading takes time as we all work full time and Ryan is a full time student. We're trying our hardest to get the episodes out as we can!
When you talk do you mark it on the recorder ?
The douser is moving her hands to much not working wright .
As each episode is edited. All footage is run through with a fine tooth comb. We only include what is evidence. Anything that we feel is not evidence or is to questionable we omit.
Your douser needs training. Hands lower at belt level and stop moving your hands! Blindfold self to practice, also have another hola just bottom of your hands, to tell you that you are moving them, sometimes you learn this subconsciously due to the fact that you are not to be a douser, but your will is strong and your body compensates. Don't give up just try what I said and consult a master douser for help, he/she will tell you quick if you are one or not, there are also pendulums to try, but with training from a master teacher not a book or a video. you are in one now . my moms husband did almost 13 years in one of those 5 by 7 cells. he would drink beer and raise hell , sounded like a demon, it was awful. he cocked a pistol and stuck it to her head,scared me bad.women out there that fool with jail birds beware!
have to admit that dad is the reason im interested he himself did investigations and had some insane sh#t happen to him that freaks me out even thinking about

Going back over videos but one thing you might try on the bullhorn next time. Find out the prisoner numbers of the men you are speaking of. When someone would go to prison, they lost their identities, such as their names. They were only known as Prisoner 123456 or whatever number. Calling them out that way might be more convincing to them.

Thanks for the comment ntr10me! This was one of the most incredible moments of our lives during this session. The dousing rods were completely energized and she said she could feel it into her fingers.
