The Ellis team were the masters of game show themes in the dying days of the golden era of daytime game shows. Hot Streak had no chance in the US against the more established Pyramid and Price, not helped by the fact that ABC’s daytime lineup was a shell of its former self after the Dawson era of Family Feud closed up shop. The German version fixed what was wrong with the original US version by adding a fourth main game round for triple score and giving teams that won seven matches a chance to play their last bonus game to augment their winnings to a grand prize amount (originally DM25,000, later changed to DM100,000)
Composed for the American version of "Ruck Zuck" which was called "Bruce Forsythe's Hot Streak", by the father-son team of Ray and Marc Ellis.
They also did other game show themes for Reg Grundy Productions' game shows, Including Scrabble and Sale of the Century.

AKA "Bruce Forsyth's Hot Streak" in USA.
Sounds like I should be watching Jane Fonda and Richard Simmons exercise videos.
