Now every time I see it will buy a few fruits to enjoy. Creamy and like custard! Must try if any see it in Kundasang. Sometimes can find it in KK city but very rare. The fruit the local share with you we called it tarap or botnically known as Artocarpus elasticus. The indegeneous people of Kundasang are Dusun or dusunic tribe and are mostly Muslim. However there are quite significient numbers of Christians of Roman Catholic, Protestant of Borneo Angelical Massion and Seventh-day Adventist Church in smaller group. I would say we have high tolerance faithwise, as most family linage would have mix of all those faith. Before the missinories of all the faith came, our ancestors believe or practice Anamisme. Some of the older folks may still practice it. Some relegious reseacher say Anamisme are religion of Haniff...
10:16 Tarap, sounds like when you combine the words "tar" and "up". The scientific name is Artocarpus odoratissimus, it's native to Borneo(Sabah+Sarawak+Brunei+Kalimantan) and other islands nearby.
Tarap is a Borneo local fruit, i think they are related to jackfruit. it mainly just pop up everywhere in our area, bcs i never saw someone actualy make a tarap farm (maybe there is someone who did em, but just in my place which is interior Sabah)
Actually u can easily get many cars going to kundasang Ranau in Kota Kinabalu near padang bandaran kota Kinabalu at Ranau Car park. 😊😊 Got so many cars there going to kundasang... U can take their mobile number too
I recommend you to go poring hot spring at Ranau! It's very relaxing and fun right there, it's been almost 10 years since I went to hotspring lol. I hope you love the hotspring. 👍

India have plenty of such beautiful hill stations. Currently You are in south India , Dont forget to visit munnar in kerala . And in north Kullu manali..shimla..nainital etc. In the NE whole state is mountain state except Assam. Visit with Gangtok in sikkim 1st and to rest of other states. Search online about them st.
Bro try trip to North/south Sumatra Lot of foreigners/UA-camr make videos there. Also have rich history one of the most strongest empire called srivijaya(south Sumatra) 2nd biggest in asean and related to 🇲🇾

Kundasang actually have 4 seasons in one day. Spring in the morning, summer at noon, falls at evening and winter at night. :)
