I seriously looked at buying one years ago but with the high lifter failure rate due to the DOD ( displacement on demand) system which has been happening for years and more importantly GM not fixing the issue still, I give it a hard pass.
LT/LS. I've pulled mine out a few times. Go online to summit racing and order some new regular lifters and other parts. You don't have to take the motor out. I ordered a camshaft and it came in less then a few weeks from the states. Cranks rods and pistons are cheap too. You could go from 6.2 to 6.8 with no clearancing or boring. It would be a fraction of the cost of the overall truck to do a stroker. Never heard of anyone in Aus doing one. I'd pull the motor the first day if I bought one. So easy to work on. I can't believe you are so scared to do a bit of mechanical work? You could pull it down.. take the parts to the local machinist down the road whose been doing engines for 30 years. He'll ballance everything and chuck the storker together with all the parts for a few k. Done. Changing the lifters can be done yourself tho. Also there are a lot of forged mid speak cranks rods and pistons that are far better then stock. You don't need to spend a lot..
Rumour (and I do mean rumour) has it that the GMC is coming and in Denali grade too, will be interest to see if the GM EV Trucks make it down under as well.
I hate these stupid things. All of these American "trucks" are stupid, expensive for what they are, and crap. I miss the Falcon and Commodore based utes 😢. Can't put five people in them? Oh well, nevermind. The other three people can walk
Just not as epic as that supercharged ram... Or the Ford... Or any of the American EV trucks... Especially the GM ones... But still epic. Ultimately I would choose whatever one has the softest and quietest ride tho
"A couple of me's maybe 3 of me's if I'm being kind you're probably going over the weight limit. Yeah 3½."
I felt that.
😪
perfect tailgating car
RIP THE RIP. LONG LIVE RIPPING AND RIP. LET IT RIP!!!!!!

@@Dan-rg7jjI am an aircraft technician by trade so no, I am not scared of mechanical work. The point is, I shouldn’t have to on a brand new vehicle.
RIP RANGER HEAVY DUTY (BEFORE ITS EVEN BORN TO BE ABLE TO BE RIP)
Chevy had the corner step years before the ranger.
Yup, Chevy had those bumper steps since 2014 on the previous generation.
RIP FORD
LOL Victoria plates and RHD on a Silverado, that just seems wrong.
RIP DODGE
It's ugly, but you're right about the V8. I prefer the F-truck but I wish it had a couple more cylinders...
How about RIP "RIP" videos?
I was so excited when I saw the thumbnail, I though it was the EV version 😂
RIP TOYOTA TUNDRA
Its twin is the GMC Sierra 1500 which you don't get it in Australia yet but i hope it will be coming soon.

Hi guys! Greetings from Kenya! Kindly do a review of the Ram 1500 sport. Thanks in advance.
the new silverados are having some serious catastrophic engine failures, even low KM ones.
Still looks cheap and plastic inside compared to a Ram ,no one mentions that 1 in 5 -7 Silverado has engine failures , I’ll hang onto my Trx I think 😂
Great videos! Your content is always top notch - informative, interesting and high quality. Keep it up!🌏▪️🐥

Hardly a F-150 killer. Click bait titles are getting old, a bit like the tech in a Chevy.

Nothing but a lump of Detroit, crap quality.
Bro literally took a lost dog home, what a lad.
