I think its so cool with the canine species when you drink water, the tongue actually does a inverted scoop just like a real dog would do. Very cool detail.
Not sure but I think the wolf body making “an L shape” when turning is by design. I mean animals definitely do it in nature plus it might just be a way to avoid drift when switching animations.
Ecos la brea is deffinetly worth a try, New mechanics, New map, New everything. What i do think it will ruin the game is its players. Cs players, as well as the other animal survival games like wild savannah, sonora, Yellowstone unleashed and amazon ascension, are notoriously known for their very toxic and rude behavior, thus kos will be a huge thing, my friends had normal wolf pack of around 10 and sabers just came and killed them, saying "to bad" like wth, let people have fun, dont be rude
i think not being able to kill players in corpse circles as herbivores helps reduce that and thankfully most large friend group kosers starve relatively quickly. theyre still a lot of kosing which is a lot more difficult to reduce without forced growth and their “staying alive increases tracks system” defentily doesn’t seem to stop people from kosing since the only thing tracks can and probably will buy are skins and emotes which kosers dont really prioritize (since from what ive seen at least most kosers are robux spoiled) but hopefully the introduction of more animals will reduce same species large scale kosing
@pleasantdashi7112 and thats where growth would been an important thing it would reduce kosing you have young to feed and protect so you need to go back to your den/home
Tbh this game feels like a downgrade from cenozoic survival so far. I get its new though, but the fact we're not getting offspring, just feels like it'll get boring fast. Like right now its basically just eat, drink, kill each other. Offspring encourages players to be more realistic, wary of predators, its a huge part of a wild animals life. Still undoubtedly worth the tiny price though, I'm probably going to sadly keep playing cenozoic survival and thinking of all the baby animals we missed out on.

While the saber def runs out of stam faster than horses the dogs can out stam horses and sabers…and bison… they have the best stam in the game. Bison have very lil stam.
I found this to be a huge disappointment. Bad game design that makes you hold down the shift key forever while you're running vast distance, a double tap was too much to ask? You play for skins and just to get two mini games? How exciting ... There's no group chat when you're in a group, cause why would you want that, right? Simple, basic shit that every OTHER game has figured out? The chat can spam anything they want while you're trying to talk to your group? What's the point of groups, then? If literally every player logged on can drown you out? This isn't rocket science, it's basic game design. Chasing is way too difficult, the difficulty spike of the game is immediate and unrelenting, there's no in-game tutorial, and nothing it intuitive. You get dropped into where ever, run forever, can't talk to your group despite this game specifically depending on other players's cooperating, and if your screen swoops one way too hard or two right you've lost the hunt. I'm just amazed at how shitty the game design is. Playing makes the shine come off the Cenozoic apple FAST. I might try this again a few more times, but I got tired of running forever, tired of not knowing what to do, tired of my group not paying attention me because my voice is lost among every other player logged on, and not once were we able to hunt together.
Chasing is not way too difficult XD It can get annoying but that's the point of chasing, it gets sometimes annoying and you never really know if you'll catch the prey, this is realistic. You probably just have skill issues, it's not the game's fault

In real life, wolves' coats depend on the environment and season. During winter and fall, their coats are thick and during spring and summer, they're more "skinny". During the era Ecos takes place, there weren't deliberate seasons (only wet and dry season), causing the animals' coats to get used to both in an unique way.
