I was a student at Mars Hill College 62 to 66. I spent time in Marshall, on the French Boar River. Seems there was something important about the French Board Hotel and that great sheriff Zeno Ponder, a great American. Enjoyed your video.
Now there's a family that can actually say they own their farm , no lease payments to CNH , JD or AGCO there , way to go, I would love to come drive that old harvester for a day .
We had the 1963 or 64 SPF with the 427 in line Continental six cylinder engine, We took the other pipe plug out of the exhaust manifold and being as it was pipe thread we ran two black steel pipes up through the hood and put a pair of Farmall M mufflers on it with rain caps, Music to your ears under load, we figure with our silos and others we filled 125 silos with it, not all that bad on gas, We would start cutting around 9:00AM after milking & chores and run to 4:30 PM on 1 tank except on Farm bureau/FS gas at a neighbor's, ran out of fuel at 3:00-3:15 on that gas 🤣😂.
No, a John Deere will chop more on accident that that fox will on purpose, even a pull type John Deere with a 4640 on the front will make that look silly.

Nice to see!
What model is the chopper?
If you want fun on a Fox?? Go downhill and ride it out when the drive belt, starts slipping an it takes off freewheeling!!! Lol!
What engine is it running?
Continental L478.
Is that a Continental 427 gas engine?
No. It is the Continental L478. The big 180* loop in the exhaust pipe gives it away.

That may be so, But I remember riding on the platform of a fox self propelled with my Uncle on my Grandfathers farm, Priceless memory.
