obviously he took time to develop for the first few years bc he came in so young, but it would be crazy to downplay it. the rangz culture is very stupid (oh and btw if you leave the team that's not winning any titles you're not "doing it right"), for the same reason KG doesn't get his due credit bc he spent almost all of his career on Minnesota teams that would have been some of the worst in history without him. people in the 80s understood Jordan was God while the bulls were still crap, and in fact he probably peaked before they won their first chip. LeBron probably peaked in Miami but the point stands. being just a one-man team guy isn't as valuable as fitting in well with other stars to contend, but all three guys showed they could do that as well, though LeBron probably didn't have an ideal copilot until AD.

Since the 62-63 season, Lebron holds the record for the most playoff losses with 33.
      Most NBA Finals Lost - Players · Jerry West - 8 · Elgin Baylor - 7 · LeBron James - 6.

I would even place Scotty Pippin above Lebron.

Why he get beat by a washed garnett, pierce and Allen when he was a 1 seed and favorite to make chip? Why he lose to Dallas with 2 superstar teammates and himself being so different and the best ever? Why did he lose to Steph Curry before anyone knew who the heck Steph was and by that point LeBron had been to the finals 5 times already? Why did lebron lose in the 1st round to phoenix a few years ago when phoenix was a newly constructed team with cp3 (and cp3 had a hurt shoulder)? Why did LeBron miss the playoffs his first year with the Lakers while Kawhi won a chip his first year in Toronto? Why did LeBron miss the playoffs last year? His impact as the best player is a mirage. He was really great his first years with Cleveland. After that he lost me with needing dream team talent everywhere he goes. No GOAT in any sport complains about lack of help as much as this dude, when he had so much talent around him. Shoot last year lakers had Malik monk who balling right now. But they had no help. They had AD who is a beast when activated. Lebron needs ready made talent and he fails to get the most out of that talent often. That's why he loses more chips than he wins and fails to lead a lakers team to the playoffs 2 of the 4 years he been there. Might be 3 out of 5 if he fails this year. Smh

Nah Wilt Chamberlain is the greatest athlete ever.

    • @zionlxzarus
      @zionlxzarus Рік тому +4

Even then, other than Wilt Chamberlain. LeBron isn't more athletic than Jordan. He is a more physically gifted specimen if that makes sense. Being able to move the way he moves at 6'9 113kg (250lb) is impressive.
But if you actually break down his athleticism and compare it to Jordan.
      Jordan is faster
      - (4.38 seconds 40 yard dash time compared to LeBron 4.6 seconds 40 yard dash)
      - Jordan is quicker because he's more fast twitched (impeccable first step speed) whereas LeBron has a slow first step
      - Jordan has better footwork and footspeed
      - Jordan is much more well balanced and coordinated when he is in the air (LeBron lacks aerial control and loses balance quickly, also falls a lot)
      - Michael Jordan is able to equally jump off all sorts of jumping stances very equally strong (1 foot left foot takeoff, 1 foot right foot takeoff, 2 foot right left takeoff, 2 foot left right takeoff)
LeBron is a 1 foot left foot leaper. Occasionally 2 but doesn't get the same amount of height efficiency in other jumping stances. He relies on his speed to leap him up high.
Jordan is also quite strong for his size, despite his small frame. Because Jordan also could bench 300lb while there is no 1RPM max for LeBron Bench press, he could bench 225lb for over 12 reps, but it's estimated it's around the same weight Jordan is pressing either way for max, meaning Jordan is still stronger as he is benching 1.4x his body weight compared to LeBron 1.2x his body weight if he benched 300lb. So we'll never know.
Muscle mass also doesn't mean greater strength. Muscle size doesn't influence muscle strength. You see a 6'7 Rodman 220lb (100kg) physically holding his ground against a 7'1 325lb (147kg) Orlando Shaq. That's 6 inches and 105lb (48kg) difference between the 2 players.
      - So I would give strength to Jordan.
Jordan by far beats LeBron in all the athletic categories (speed, quickness, agility, versatility, vertical/leaping ability, coordination, balance, aerial body control, strength, explosiveness and overall athletic prowess), but still doesn't change the fact LeBron is a more physically gifted specimen. However he's more built for contact sport than Jordan is.

@@zionlxzarus Well put, But I doubt your assessment, LeBron has had a longer career (54k mins) than Jordan (41k mins), endurance matters as well, Jordan probably had a stronger mentality, but LeBron is has probably the most amazing athlete of the last 20 yrs and that says something, he's alongside Phelps, Bolt etc in my eyes, LeBron has long strides and there is enough evidence he's still very fast, Jordan's speed declined by the later part of the 90's, there is no evidence MJ bench pressed 300 lbs, he was 197 lbs when he came into the league and at best weighed 210 lbs, he leapt higher (48 inch) than LeBron (44 inch) and also had better footspeed and footwork, agility, but that's because he's 4 inches shorter than LeBron, he was strong for his bodyweight but LeBron is still stronger and moves like a point guard, well he cannot move like Westbrook, Jordan moved like him despite being 3" over him, I think they both are great in their own way, the shorter you are, the more the agility, so it goes hand in hand, MJ was stronger mentally and his biggest competitor was he alone, and that's the reason he succeeded, his drive motivated his team and despite being an ahole, he was followed by them, that's not the case with LeBron, that's also partly to blame the modern day social media, players are too frisky nowadays to shun the limelight amd follow someone else, Wilt was arguably was godly, no one will believe his feats unless they witness them, but then again he failed to win as many team accolades as these guys, there is no harm in saying LeBron is one of the greatest athletes in all of sports history, if not the greatest.
