Great review!!! The only Miele product I’ve tried is the Pomegranate Leave In conditioner!

I am a super fan of Mielle Organics! The Pomegranate & Honey line is actually really good for my hair too. I usually use the twisting soufflé for my protective styles and my hair looks and feels so soft and healthy.

But don't confuse breakage with shedding. Shedding is normal and healthy. Breakage is not

Yes! You are absolutely right! Sometimes we can freak out when we see strands of fairing coming out as we wash or style our hair. I remind my friends and family that it’s important to pay attention to the length of those strands.
If you have longer hair, and the strands that you see are long as well, that’s regular shedding. On the flip side, if those strands are different lengths and generally short, that’s likely breakage.

Well I have low porosity hair, meaning that my hair does not absorb moisture or products as well when the hair shaft is not open wide enough. So because of that I’ve learned how to train my hair to absorb better. For me that means I’m using warm water, but I’ve also applied leave-in conditioner and styling cream after I’ve gotten out of the steamy shower (and I didn’t wear a scarf or shower cap over my head). That steam can help open your hair follicles too!

I like how you mentioned having low-porosity hair. Mine is low-porosity and it is difficult to find good products.
I have switched completely from Shea Moisture since its too heavy for me and a lot of buttery oils to Mielle.
I have tried their Pomegranate Mousse, their Brazilian cream and their Sea Moss Shampoo/Conditioner.
Have you tried the Mielle Moisture Rx line?

I pay close attention to the products that my hair work well with, and produce the best results. If you don’t already, check out my Curlsss hightlight on Instagram (@_trulyhvynleigh) because I do monthly Killer Kombos with products that my low porosity hair likes, and I post them to that highlight.
Speaking of which, I’m highlighting the Hawaiian Ginger Moisture RX anti-breakage shampoo for the month of May. I haven’t tried the other products in that line but I think I like this shampoo! Let me know if you’d like to see a review on it 🤔

      @@TrulyHVynLeigh Oh nice!!
      Yes, I'll take a look.
Mielle has a deal on their bundles right now (boxes with shampoo, conditioner, gel or you could get the "slay" bundle for styling products). I am considering getting the full bundle for Type 3 hair which has the Rx line .
They also have a whole tab for items that are tailored in their line for low-porosity . I will post the links below.

@@TrulyHVynLeigh Aw, thanks. We have to support one another out here.
So far I like Mielle, I did not like the Brazilian cream due to the heaviness.
I paired it with their mousse and my wash and go did not last (both times I tried it) ! I have a looser curl pattern (2b/2c and some 3a) so the cream was a bit heavy for me and with the mousse added, there was not enough hold to last more than a day or two.
I am going to try the Sea Moss Curl Pudding today with the Pomegrante mousse and see what happens..
I do like the smell of their products and they have a rewards program so I am buying everything from the site to rack up my points!
I'll send you my discount code. You'll get 25% off . I would make an account so you don't lose your rewards though.

Why do you use gloves ?? 🤔

    • @TrulyHVynLeigh
      @TrulyHVynLeigh  2 роки тому +4

I don’t use gloves often but in this case, I removed acrylic nails improperly and so my nail beds were messed up. I didn’t want my nails to get caught in my hair and cause breakage.
Normally, I just use my hands bc it’s better to feel single strand knots and tangles
