I don't know the movie but it looks just as philosophical and yearning as Soviet SciFi often is. And just by knowing where the soundtrack is from gives me shivers. Makes the beautiful trailer more intense.
I've got a feeling that I may not like the film, but its look and the feel thats it's giving me from the trailer alone, is definitely peeking my interest. It looks very a space Odyssey and solaris!! I may give it a go, thanks for your brillance as always in captivating people through your trailers 🙌
Hey there, this is sourced from the Blu-Ray, there's actually a link in the description for anyone interested in that. The subtitles I always make myself just for the trailers though :)

It's a sci-fi mastepiece, nothing less! Its influence on Kubrick's 2001 Space Odyssey (and so many other sci-fi films and series) is obvious!
It's from Czechoslovakia, actually.
It's based off a novel by Stanislaw Lem, who also wrote Solaris, which was adapted by Andrei Tarkovsky into the film by the same name.

Fantastic work.
Looks great. I've tried to watch this before. Where'd you find such a nice copy with subtitles?

@@DMEdit Oh, that's awesome. You've made some amazing edits on your channel, Year of the Dragon comes to mind. Thanks!
Before 2001: A Space Odyssey, before Solaris, before Alien, and before Interstellar.
Excelent work man. As always. Could i ask you wich song you used?
It’s ‘The Alien’ from Annihilation, one of my favourite tracks of all time.
