The portal makes him invulnerable for one hit, but if you hit fast enough with 2 hits you can keep him in the air and resets the combo back to full damage.
I think the reason it does so much is because Quans armor causes the combo to continuously reset even though he’s still being juggled meaning the damage scaling never gets high enough to make the combo do no damage.
After all this time the armor extender has finally returned
And has more hits of armor than MKX. Sadly, MKX's was still a lot better, but theres a few of them in MK1 that are fun.

Yes, it is the same as MKX, only in this game it gives you longer combos because of more armor breaks.
