It’s not a car seat, but my husband and I use a dog hammock, that way our dog still has free range but her hair doesn’t get everywhere and the seats don’t get scratched. It just clips on the headrests and adjusts to different cars too.

I purchased a really nice leash that goes around the head rest of a car and fastens to your dogs harness (NOT on the dog collar). It keeps the dog from flying through the car in case of an accident. We use a king size pillow and her favorite blanket which our pup loves.

Dawn dish soap is a really good go to to wash makeup brushes! Very affordable too! When I worked at bare minerals a lot of makeup artist said that is a good alternative then spending a lot on a specific wash!
Allison use a crate for Pomer, the car seats you are talking about are not safe! In case of an accident he will be flying out of the car or potentially hurt himself with the staps. A crate is the best option and the safest 🥰
Rainy days sounds exactly right😂 but hey, learning to love those too. Of course you, Allison, have played an important role on that. A couple days ago I enjoyed an afternoon storm while laying on my hammock and reading. It actually felt great! BTW, I am obsessed with your bougainvillea 🌱🌸🌸

We use the “precious tails” car seat dog bed in size medium for our pup who is around 25lbs. It works great and is also water resistant!

We have been making our own almond milk for years…. So easy to do with a high speed blender and a large nut straining bag

hi Allison, I'm so glad you're doing well and i just wanted to make some comments, I like The Wingfeather saga by Andrew Peterson and would recommend it for your next read but the book does have some violence, and I thought it was cool that you found a candle scent that smelled like bread and I have a colored pencil called shortbread because I like to draw and it's close to the color of shortbread, and I've seen a back console pet car seat online though I'm not sure if it is what you're looking for.

I’ve been wanting to ask this for awhile but didn’t want to come off the wrong way. I’m curious of how your religious beliefs impact the books you pick to read? I know that Emily Henry has a lot of graphic sex scenes in her books, and as a Christian woman, I was wondering how you handle books like that?
lol you know Christian women also have sex? And contrary to what the church and purity culture want you to think, *are* allowed to enjoy it. The pressure from the church for women to not be sexual beings is toxic, patriarchal vs godly, and has caused a lot of harm that many of us are working to deconstruct from. A person can love God(if they choose to) AND enjoy sexual material. There are much bigger problems in the world to worry about than possibly getting hot over a fictional story (that's called natural and normal and God doesn't mind).
I feel like my comment got misunderstood which is exactly why I’ve held off posting it. I’m coming from a place of genuine curiosity but I’m trying to figure out the godly way to approach books like this. Yes, we are called to enjoy sex with our spouses! I’m just conflicted about books like this, that’s all :)

For Palmer in the car I would highly recommend a dog seat cover hammock, allows them to have access to the whole back seat and not fall down in between the seats. 🩵
