Now laugh more. The Most Available coffee grinder is Teeth. Chew it spit it In French press and Repeat. Pour the hot water 200°celcius. Leave it for four minutes. And Walaa Coffee is Ready.
I did a similar thing like you did with the pot method but I just used a hammer and I pulverize them but it still does not want to brew very well I have this very very dark roast and it's only brewing lighter than a light roast would brew if I bought it in the store already grinded up
I was thinking 2 sizes of cast iron skillets stacked one inside the other. Or tea towel with metal meat mallet. Use metal sifter to get fine ground for espresso, corse/medum for French press.??
Mortar & Pestle is a difficult way, but it works. Not comfortable. Not fast. I did that a couple of times. I also tried cup on a plate, similar to your pot and the towel, but the mortar & pestle was better.

This was great! Being now to coffee, I wonder: Why grind the beans at all? I guess the factors are temperature, surface area and time (based on basic physics). So why not brew coffee with whole beans for a long time, or for a really long with at a low temperature?
yea you're right about temp and surface area. And the challenge is you need a whole lot ... whole bean is just too solid to brew. You can give it a try if you're curious.
@@Coffeeloversmag I tired already, of course. More than once, and my coffee drinking girlfriend really liked it. So, I still wonder, is there a good reason not to? I don't see why you would need more beans.
I hope my downstairs neighbours don’t own firearms sheeshhhh
I laughed out loud several times during this video. Thank you for this informative and humorous video 👍
glad it was amusing! I felt goofy making it

Put them in a plastic zip lock bag lay it on the counter get a rolling pin or a baseball bat and roll it.. it works fast and easy and clean 🙂 👍
Maybe you should have used a cast iron pot try that next time

I like your idea. I live in Thailand part time were I don't have a grinder and I need my coffee. We a
felt silly making this video, but there's something there :P

Brilliant. I need to make this video. You even get to pre-infuse the beans as you chew
How about possibly utilizing a heavy rolling pin (some are marble) placing the coffee between flour sack dish towels?
yea i like that! I actually don't have a rolling pin, but that's a good idea.
Seems an excellent idea. I never tried that.

@Alex Reynolds I do not know, but I have tried it many times now. It works, but it takes a long time. Close to 1 hour.
@Alex Reynolds Then I suggest you give it a try. :) "Slow cooking", with the water below boiling seems to be best. And stir often.
Put the beans in a ziplock bag and beat with a meat mallet, can or rolling pin.
yea that sounds like it'd work
I'm with you!
🤣👍⛱
Hey! Nice! Why don’t you invent coffee grind shoes!!!!!! Remember me when you are super rich and famous!!!
Reminds me of flip flops with bottle openers in the sole :D I'll see what I can do
Please make a video grinding with a rolling pin!
i'll give that a try soon. hah. I think i need a way to make the pin grippy
