I’ve been watching every video from oldest to newest after finding your “last putting lesson you’ll need” with this guy and one thing I wanna compliment is your editing. It’s VERY good and is very tasteful
When I was a kid we played marbles, taught me a lot about breaking points and distance control. As an adult I fished and it taught me lots about distances and reading what’s under the water. These things have made golf that much easier for me.
Man, this was some great content. I'd never heard of this coach before, but it quickly became obvious that he really knows his stuff. Truly fascinating to listen to him go through his analysis and explanations in each situation.
New to golf having picked it up in the last two months and this video as well as part two have completely changed how I perceive putting! I can’t wait to put these ideas to practice!
Best video I've seen on actually helping me understand how to work on my putting. He mentions making a note of your putting, "missed left and long" etc. Will you do this on notes app or will you write it down on a scorecard?
another good, interesting video. Dude, you have some serious statistical work to do to keep Derek happy. Good luck. PS had a lesson today myself and guess what? it was all about the turn Just like Mike was telling you ! I had fun on my lesson and fun watching your lesson, keep 'em coming
I have balance issues. I tried straddling over the line and can’t really feel the slope so I use plumb bob method. I think it works for me. Gonna try the walking briskly to find the uphill/downhill grade. Thanks for the video.
Great video. Have you thought about getting an app to track your golf analytics? I use the Grint and I wish I had started using it when I first started. It is a great tool to show you where you need to improve.
You should give more clear credit to the coaches helping you. Neither the title nor the description has the instructors name or a link to his information. Other than that good video
Great stuff, A little over your head I could tell as is a beginner. As a beginner, you just have to work on your line and speed. I’d just keep practicing block, or a couple games. Seve Ballestero starts putting drill with 4 balls, from from 4 feet, goes to 8 then 12 then 16. I understand green reading is important, but you’re not a pro, and when You’re playing in a foursome, and people are waiting behind you, You can’t spend five minutes, reading the green. Maybe like 30 seconds…😮
THis guy just doesn't really focus....even though he says he is. Never going to improve, unless real commitment and firm decision making becomes a norm. I don't see that. This guy is more about selling his channel...than actually improving at golf.

always a pleasure to watch anything with Derek Uyeda!!

Thanks! He will be on the channel for the long haul so more wisdom on the way!
He's 700 hr
@@scottsears5545 Damn, I think I'll just stick with my sorry putting! 😆

Amazing video and the editing is even more amazing. No wasted time.
🫡🙌
Great lesson, I got a lot from this, thanks.
No worries glad it helped :)
Great video, can't wait to see more from this coach.

Never heard of Derek. This was excellent! I like him!

Yeah a long way from being decent in putting!
Yes but are you gonna record all your putts like he said?
your video is great help me to learn how to play golf better, thanks
Awesome to hear :)
Good stuff. Keep the videos coming. He's a great putting coach especially if you are a technical golfer.
Yeah he has so much knowledge it’s wild!

Gotta be my favorite series rn
LETS GOOO!!! Going to keep trying to push the highest quality, most unique content every day!! :)
Thanks Jerome to share this value tips, is hard to get a good coach like Derek
Congrats on the 1k!! 🔥🔥
Thanks! And thanks for being on the journey with me :)
I’m excited to try this, i’m finally playing a round in a little bit lol
Good luck!

I have not but will have to check it out :)
You Sir have earned a new subscriber. Good video.
Looks like you found your putting coach for life! Another great content.
Derek is awesome great teacher and great guy
What alignment aid are you using in this video?
There's a side of me that doesn't want to have to put in that much effort. It would be really nice to reduce my 3 and 4 putts though.
So you have to properly assess the lay of the green to set the line and then hit it the correct speed: got it!
this is gold
Fuegooooo
some links to the products being used would be great
Added a collection of stuff I’ve bought on this journey here! Linktr.ee/jeromerufin
감사합니다.
Bro you make rolling a ball into a hole from 4 feet seem like it's the hardest thing in the world
What is the training aid he is using?
I believe it’s called putting plates. It’s his own invention!
If you’re gonna feel the level with your feet shouldn’t you do it without a club in your hand?
excellent putting series...learned a lot from Derek...can't afford $750 per hour for his time!
work hard and practice make perfect, keep it up, you may be single handicap in a year
so he didn't change your grip or stroke technique or did that come later?
That came in part 2. It’s live on the channel :)
My brain hurts just thinking about putting!
Hahaha it’s so important !!
What shirt is that??? I want
Only 26 more likes to get you into the lake!
When are you going pro? :)

Ah that's a misstep on my end. Will do that now! Thanks for catching that!
I agree.
great vid, i had the pleasure of turning 999 to 1k likes. get yourself in the lake fella 😉
you have a lofty goal to become a scratch golfer but i wish you good luck.

eskeddittttttttttttttt
Great content, but this really attracts slow play for recreational golfers.
Stop giggling like a little girl, lol. Otherwise, these are good videos. He's the best putting coach in the US.
What an idiotic statement “ using the line on the ball is cheating “
How old is this guy? He talks and acts like a teenager.
THis guy just doesn't really focus....even though he says he is. Never going to improve, unless real commitment and firm decision making becomes a norm. I don't see that. This guy is more about selling his channel...than actually improving at golf.
Couldn't agree more, I'm enjoying the instruction though!
Jerome, let me suggest that you try to control you laughter. too much seems to make you very immature.
i think this guy has an inner ear problem... no way he can't feel his body leaning left/right when i can see it on camera and he can't feel it
Yeah my center of balance is all off :/
Most expensive putting coach ever! Lol.
