I worn all of these, here's my 2 cents:
Sutro:very large lens and frame makes them heavy(there is a small version), stems are long and don't hug
the head as good.
EV Zero Blades:no support at all don't get them for any activity that requires even moderate movement.
Encoder: Kato like design with smaller lens coverage and no nose guard, great fit, my favorite non Rx pair.
Readar Ev Path: great support, great fit a bit chunky stems, can't go wrong.
Radar Ev Advancer: discontinued, for me a dated look, but the advancer is a great feature if you fog up a lot.
Thanks for the thorough review I got the ev advancers for running and the extended nose piece is a life saver.
I should have gotten the advancers. I’m a runner as well and I notice my normal radar evs fog up on long runs.
I have the encoder, radar ev path, and the ev advancer. My go to is actually the flight jacket, it has the same advancer feature as the ev advancer. No frame on the brow line on that. I get essentially unobstructed field of view. The encoder came out and essentially replaced that. I get the same unobstructed field of view but it’s all around, not just on the brow line. That thing is hard to fog. I had the EVzero Path on a few times, it’s hard to fog those too. I’m sure the EVzero Blades are tough to fog, no frame in the way, the sweat drips off.

Own three of these.
Sutro- really too boxy and stiff. Least durable Oakleys I have owned. Cool looking but poor fit. Got retired to safety glasses duty.
EVZero Blades- agree with you, these are probably the most perfect “Oakley” style wrap around frames out. Very similar to vintage Dartboard frames.
Just purchased the Encoder frame. The sculpted lens adds a lot of stiffness and stability over the EVBlades which should offer better eye protection. Definitely tighter fit to the face, might get more sweat drips/fogging on them vs something that sits farther away.

Are the ev advancer nosepieces interchangeable with the standard ev frames?
The Sutros have that “V” sci fi 80s miniseries look, the shades the aliens wore.
EVZERO blade looks best on u.. also I think they’re very head turning because of the no bridge piece..
Why didn't you test pairs like the Flight Jacket or JawBreakers? They're made for performance cycling, only the sutros really were made for cycling

Lol. Ughh so confused on what to buy. I do have turbine rotors and batwolfs ATM. But i do prefer the one solid lense opposed to the two piece lense pairs. So 🤔

The nose pieces are getting wider and wider. Compare an M Frame nose piece to the Encoder. Its a scandal because the glasses hold the face much worse than before for regular noses. Oppressed peoples of the world, rejoice: special Asian low bridge fit models weren't enough for you; you had to go ahead and destroy the regular glasses too. Scicon with adjustable nose piece from now onward for me.
