Yessss!!!! I couldn’t pinpoint it, but you hit the nail on the head! My toddler’s teacher asked me to spray perfume on a cotton ball, put it in a little jar, and bring it to daycare because my son asks for me a lot now that he’s getting older. I did that & they said it’s helped SO MUCH. They said he just goes in the cozy corner w his jar open and takes it in then goes back to play. Like, I’m a good enough mom that just my SCENT calms my baby. We are way too hard on ourselves. We’re doing just fine ❤ ty for this!

I can also imagine that telling your kids about your own personal limits with touch will really get them thinking about and normalize personal boundaries - that they need to respect other people's and that they are allowed to have personal boundaries too. 🙌🏻

Exactly. I struggle with physical contact as I have sensory overload issues and am also not great at snuggling or cuddling, but I know and handle everything else for my entire household and I'm damn good at what I do and my kids tell me every day how much they love me and that I'm the best mom ever.
I try my best and my kids are loved, healthy, and happy.

The comments on here are already pissing me off! You ARE a great mom! People who comment ridiculous things under a 8 second short video, really need to find something else to do with their time!

I can relate, I have three kids. My middle is the only person in the world. I know that wants milk before pouring cereal... And I respect it and follow that rule..

Those details are not important. Be an adult and don't be touched out..... What is touched out? Be the grown up and meet the needs of your kids. Stop catering to things like same bowels. If we are attached to items maybe it's time for a hurricane to come through. We have different ideas of good.

😂😂 you don't like her parenting don't watch 🤣🤣🤣 you really tried to bring her guilt back... You triggered? Your mommy gave u hugs but not your favorite spoon or bowl??

Wtf are you literally talking about? You're completely contradicting yourself. She IS meeting the needs of her kids. You're obviously not a parent, bc little details are BIG to little ones, & she's not going to be able to "cater" to every blessed thing at every blessed second of her child's life, so the fact that she knows all the stuff & worries that she's doing a good job means SHE IS. However... There's something obviously you're failing at miserably, bc u came in the comments to smugly shit on her to make yourself feel superior. What is it you need to feel better about, why do you need that rush? Look inward, sweatheart.
