I love watching all of your videos. I am 75 and haven't been to Vegas since 2009. Prices are so outlandish now I do not know how anyone affords to eat or stay there. Thank you for all of your information and insight into this now extremely over priced City. Glad we could visit when you could get a 99 cent pasta buffet (really - not a lie) at an off the strip casino. I remember 5 dollar prime rib - and it was delicious. Free champagne fountain at the Westward Ho at night and bloody Mary's in the morning. So many unbelievable bargains. All gone. We can eat a week at home for the price of the Bellagio Thanksgiving buffet you mentioned. Wow. I guess when you are 75 in the far future the buffet prices will be in the thousands. When I worked at a fastfood joint, we got our bacon from a factory. It was 80% cooked and we'd finish it in the microwave. That bacon looked like the industrial bacon I used to use. I'm glad it tasted better than it looked. I guess you can't always tell just from watching a video.
"Twice-cooking" bacon is actually not horrible - I've found that if I fry up a big batch and store some for microwaving later, it's a bit crispier the second time around. Agreed that Danny's bacon doesn't look thick, but I've seen far, far worse (cough, Denny's).
Your breakfast looks great that was one thing I always ate at least once during my stay in Vegas was French toast the reason is its something I didn't make at home. Also always enjoyed just eggs and bacon and sausage always tasted better when someone else makes .I always liked at Harrahs when they had the all that jazz restaurant in the 90"s that restaurant was so good. Even like although everyone complained about the the old imperial palace buffet said it was terrible I never found anything wrong and food was always good. Some of the best meals come from the little coffee shops that are in the hotels I think to many judge a restaurant by atmosphere well you can't eat atmosphere I would take a little overcrowded coffee shop in the casino then some of the overpriced theme restaurants that some TV chef opened and doesn't even work there but just has his name on the building. Maybe I would be considered a cheapskate but I would rather have a good meal vs some high priced little dab of food on my plate that you see on these high end restaurant they put two dollops of something on the plate and that is dinner well no thank you. Give me a good coffee shop or small restaurant that has good basic food anyday
Danny, no King crab anywhere not only Vegas. A ban on trapping the crabs went into effect in 2021 and will continue for at least 3 more years. This is so the population can recoup as they've been over fished..

Have the waffles improved since last time you reviewed? They were pretty dense as I recall from your review. My experience with Bellagio's waffles is that they are "doughy" and dense. Should be light and crispy in my opinion.
King crab legs! Yummy! Last time I had them was at Bachanal Buffet a few years back. It was AYCE, ordered through our waiter as it was offered only to Seven Stars patrons. Bummer that you miss this rare opportunity 🙁
It's just not the same without seeing the whole buffet 😕. Maybe someday we will see King Crab regularly- and even the old snow crab that were twice the size and sweet and tender- not stringy and blah. Or even Lobster so plentiful that make our poor eat them because they are so plentiful. But we have to be much better to our oceans ! I doubt I'll live that long. Anyway Happy Thanksgiving! When you make your homemade Eggs put little Cream of Tarter powder and whip makes it fluffy and less lumpy stringy

Yup. I always use a stick for 8 eggs. Things come out like semi softened butter. Dicious
