This is great! My daughter is using the low voice for her audition into a Florida High School of The Arts. You usually hear people singing this in a high tone-way too high for their voice!
Your Italian needs work. Single S is like a short Z when in the middle of the word like in: cosi or riso. when you sing "mentre del mare" you should use the same roll on the R as you do on the word "Mare" on the word "Mentre" the English R sounds out of place. Also on double consonants both are pronounced like in: Rag-gio or Flut-ti. The vibrato is not constant that means that you're putting tension in the larynx specially when you singing the higher notes; the voice support is on the diaphragm not the throat. keep working on it takes time and dedication lots of practice and good voice coach that won't let you develop bad habits. Your voice has a very lovely timbre.
Thank You.......so much more your posts which are very helpful for beginner's like me....we are all on a singing journey.....and only competing with ourselves. Besides singing is so much fun and I teaches so much....about ourselves and others.
@0AlluringBeauty0 I would agree with your opinion on the singing, and I don't know this lady, but I'm pretty sure it was sung very plainly for the sake of young kids learning the song. She should have, however, sung with correct Italian.
Singing is beautiful and I get the diction thing. English "r" after a "t" is like "Metchre" instead of "Metre" if you listen. It's like a diphthong but with consonance.
Great singing! I would recommend when someone learns this that they learn the words because she didn't pronounce things correctly. Otherwise, it is perfect!
From the beggining she's not even pronouncing the very first phrase properly, she says "Come raggio di so" sounding the a like the american english, too closed, a little bit like the italian "e" instead of a; and when she is supposed to say sol, she keeps on the english american way of pronouncing the letter l which is too weak and doesn't at all in singing. In singing one must articulate more than in speaking.
The singing technique isn't bad, but the pronunciation is absolutely horrible. This is not how Italian should sound. I would delete this clip if I were you
Andrew Holbein No, he is not a jerk. When you go en plein public you should be capable of handling critics, especcially when the critics know what they are talking about. Her italian is bad, very bad.
Thank you for this video. I'm using it to practice for a huge audition. I appreciate the plain way you sang it, not adding silly fluff. Thank you!

People are complaining about your diction, but on the other hand your singing is Great.

For those wondering, I am 100% sure this is in B flat
CrimsonFang it’s Dminor
Can someone please tell me this key and if there is a karaoke for this and sheet music
+Natalie Garner Think its D minor, but I only own the sheet to E minor.
with which one can i?¡

can you please tell me where you got the background track?
Cd comes with songbook
i love you :-*
One flat.
It's in the key of F
Actually it's in the key of Dm
There are different versions each appropriate for your tessitura, i am a baritone and, of course, dont sing this in the same key as a tenor would

Trop scolaire. Ne pas confondre diction et articulation !
This is only to know the melody but she has terrible Italian Diction
Sure! 😀
