as a fan of the original hawaii part:ii album i never have thought that someone would actually make a whole cover of the album and variations on a cloud, i love the fact that you took your time to remake the music yourself and also try to make it sound abit like the original but in the same time keeping it new. while listening to this cover i felt like it was the first time i listened to the whole album of hawaii part:ii but somehow just know the lyrics. keep up the good work and keep on pursuing your passion!!

I love Hawaii: Part II so much, my first tattoo will be a stella octangula as a tribute to this masterpiece. I really enjoyed the cover it felt like listening to the album again for the first time!

There's so much love into this tribute and it shows, everyone did such a wonderful job and added their own magic to this already breathtaking masterpiece! I genuinely can't express how gorgeous this craft is using words, this and your other pieces deserve way more recognition
God this album always hits me in the deepest part of my soul. Tearing up from Stranded to Sea Major because of the beauty of the cover coupled with the personal resonance the entirety of the album has with the most recent tragedies of my life.
Struggling to put into words how much i love this but I'M GONNA TRY! Musically, i think i prefer the official album, but from a story standpoint, this version wins in a LANDSLIDE. The official album (lets just call it II from this point onward) is fun to just bop to, but X feels so much more emotionally charged. The way Stella feels more integral, almost as though she's communicating with/guiding Simon from beyond the grave; the slight imperfections in some vocal moments, which feels more real; the orchestrations??? Just such an amazing cover album. White Ball hit me in the feels like it never has before, because i can actually understand the dialogue!! You and Vella play off of each other so well, and the dialogue is so charming, I think this is the most I've ever cared about Simon and Stella because the dialogue is so sweet! As i said, Stella being included more is a great call, and their undying love for each other is so much more powerful than when we dont know how she feels like in II. Overall, 12/12! Such a spectacular reimagining of an amazing album!
this has my favourite version of Dream Sweet in Sea Major ever! also the Mind Electric cover is instant S tier because you had the extended Demo 4 part added in it 💪
I really like this!! The instrumentals are very pretty-- I was surprised when I heard the acoustic guitar in White Ball, but it oddly works really well. (I also thought the background banter was super cute.) Also the use of demos in some of the songs (notably in TME) was really cool, I love most of the demos for this album, so it was cool to hear them incorporated. If you dont mind criticism however, the vocals were a bit off and it sort of took me out of it a little bit. I do think the french parts in SSL7 and DSISM were really good and felt natural, but the japanese in SSL7 didn't sound as good-- of course I don't know if any of you are fluent in Japanese so Im not going to judge based off that, but it felt a bit forced is all. Besides (some) of the vocals, this is an amazing cover!! Keep it up. Edit; extra note I forgot to add, the harmonies from 24:35 and through the rest of TME just like. Itches my brain in the best way possible. I love it!! So satisfying Edit 2; I didnt realize VOAC was here. The instrumentals, again, great-- but the vocal problems really show here. They felt EXTREMELY forced and actually more shouty than anything. I feel like if you toned it back just a bit, they would've felt better. Also, the parts where the vocals are supposed to overlap in the song felt very.. Empty. defineitly more than the original. Imo, VOAC was the one that couldve used the most work out of everything, but the experience was really good overall. If I were to rate this, I'd probably give it a 6-7/10

And VOAC releasing 3 months before the rest of the album absolutely put a strain on its quality. For the longest time we actually wanted to remaster it and make an "album version" but figured if we released the song as it was, we should at least try to be content with it 😂 Though it could have been improved in so many ways, it was a way for me to creatively output many ideas I had for HPII covers and I am very proud of what we accomplished with it. WOW THIS IS SUCH A GOOD COVER ALBUM!! It feels so warm between the duets and the instrumental which sounds so.... jovial for lack of a better term. I feel like the diction in this album was very good and actually better than the original album. I learned a few missing words here and there LOL. I can tell a lot of work and love went into this and it definitely paid off, I really admire what you've done with the album!! < 3
I think you guys should've waited a year so you could've called it "Hawaii: Part 11". Also I feel like you should've add "candle on the water" as it feels like a companion piece to "stranded lullaby", I just think that since you guys went though the trouble of adding a cover of "variations of a could" that you might as well add that other song to. Over all a great cover and I will defiantly be listening to this all the time from now on.
i feel like the gap between the last click of time machine and the first note of stranded lullaby should be removed so they overlap, like the entire song starts with the "stop" click

I feel like The Mind Electric is lacking that fever-dreamish feel that the original nailed, also the vocalists could have tried a little harder, still amazing!!
