It's a great album don't get me wrong but this year has so many amazing albums that I don't think Polaris deserves the no.1 spot. Top 10? Definitely. Top 5? Arguably. But not top 3 or AOTY. ST IA HLB and Currents were all better albums than this one and arguably there is also Orbit Culture, maybe A7X and there are also albums from Silent Planet Beartooth and Cannibal Corpse ncoming and they might change the rating even more so I wouldn't be too hasty about the final ranking for the 2023
@@Szefi2137hey bud. It’s subjective. Considering what happened this year, this album objectively hits different. Whether you acknowledge it or not, this is Polaris’ best work. Also too hasty to call AOTY? Are you aware there are 3 months left in the year? Your comment hit everywhere but the bullseye.
Great album. I wasn’t blown away by any of the singles but thankfully they seem to have left the best songs as a surprise for the release. Rip Ryan Siew and thank you Polaris for this banger of an album.
Hey man, you gotta check out the new single older days by resolve featuring the vocalists from ten56 and paleface swiss. It is such an incredible song with such a unique flavor to it it's not even funny. I rarely if ever make reauests cause i know you're already back logged as it is, but this song is absolutely worth it and i'm really hoping to see your reaction to it in the next few days, i promise the song is that good. Plus you'd probably get really good engagement as none of the other major reactors have done it yet so you'd be the first big one to post it.
Hey Drew have you ever heard of the band Myosotis? I think you would enjoy their album The Sky Between Us. They're a pretty young band, but with a very developed and distinct sound in the metalcore space.
I'm surprised no one has said this yet: This sounds exactly like a Celldweller-style release. The full chords really sell that feel. The only difference are the breakdowns.
Bro I’ve been stuck on that same part of the song wondering what it was from and you were humming the same way I was. I finally figured out it was feed the wolf by breaking Benjamin for me haha
The fucking drummers will ALWAYS make every band known to man. This drummer does it for them. Who will be or is playing guitar for them during this tour?
Man’s gotta eat😂 but also those videos are awful for audience retention bro! I used to upload the full albums and they do nothing for channel growth unfortunately
Everyone is like “listen to bad omens! bad omens! bad omens!”….. I’m so sorry but I love bad omens and this song is better than anything they have ever put out… so just shut up..listen and enjoy a better band! ❤️

Sucks to hear the full album's don't do much for the channel in terms of growth, those were always my favorite.
Exit Wounds by Bad Omens is the song you're looking for, freaking awesome when I heard it for the first time either. Good work, man!
100%. Had the same thought
100% had the same thought x2
"...but it took me too long to find out who I am..."
Yup definitely Bad Omens he was thinking of
Def!!!!
Another incredible album this year... We're being absolutely spoiled
This song was definitely the one that stood out the most on my first go-around of the album
May have played this album on repeat 5 times in a row yesterday 😅
My favorite track on the album
this is AOTY. you won’t change me.
F****n right bud

@@brandonswinson3033 Did u even read my comment or not?
The death of me was a better album imo. Also Jesus is Lord.
2:59 the chorus to Feed The Wolf by Breaking Benjamin?
Yoooooo literally the same chord progression

Fiends just released their new album today as well. Absolute favorite discovery of 2023

I think Exit Wounds by Bad Omens is what that melody reminded you of

IT'S probably reminds Perfect Circle - Outsider for you?

3:02 anybody recognized where is it from? I also feel deja vu and it hurts i can't recall it
It reminds a little of a part in the second verse in Vagabond
That part kinda reminds me of alive in the lights by Memphis may fire
i feel like something close to bfw or silent planet, but dont know the song
@@ДмитрийХристодулоBleed From Within - Fracture kinda sounds like that but that is not it i think, thought about old BMTH or old Bad Omens
also kinda reminds me of the melody near the end of King by Tesseract
That mystery melody reminds of Karnivool - Goliath
2:55-3:08 😅 fuck yeah bro! You know what's up. Slipknot has been my favorite band since 1999 and Polaris has been the band to finally replace them.
The fucking drummers will ALWAYS make every band known to man. This drummer does it for them.
Who will be or is playing guitar for them during this tour?
Lead guitarist Jesse from another Aussie band called Windwaker
Bad omens - exit wounds. That’s the melody you were stuck on!
Exit wounds by bad omens is the song your thinking of!!
New Aviations album 🤘
You should've just uploaded the whole stream. 😉

Fantastic album but it falls short of their last two records and that’s ok
