This is so confusing. I thought his answer for the first question was great but if I had given that answer to my advisor she would’ve roasted me and said “I don’t need your resume” “don’t tell me things you DID, tell me who you ARE”. I am so confused and I keep getting different feedback from everyone and this feels impossible.
I would say stick with telling who you are. In my opinion his answer got too much into his reasons for medicine, and interviewers will likely ask you "why medicine" anyways so its not necessary to include for "tell me about yourself". Dont know for sure tho I waiting on my first interviews too, good luck!
This is an excellent format. Is this really typical of med school interview? Honestly, it is hard to believe he is your typical med school applicant. If he is perhaps I need to rethink my choice.
Why hard to believe? He seems like a very reasonable and normal guy. It should be encouraging if anything that people like him are successful. I would let this guy be my doctor. I can’t say the same for some of the other people I’ve seen them interview.
Amazing episode! Great questions and definitely took away some new insights. Can’t wait for the next episode.
I loved this ❤. Good job Trevi
Great idea!

I believe he's an actor playing the role of a med student.
Not an actor! Real life premed student 👊
