I've always wanted to take a beginning student through these as a modern method series and see after a few years how their sense of rhythm differs (if at all) from someone brought up through Bastion or Faber, etc. Just haven't had the opportunity to start someone from scratch!
That would be really interesting! As an added bonus, I'd guess one's ears also attune faster to dissonance and 20th century harmony going through the Mikrokosmos.
Amazing! Love it 🎶🥰🎶❤️
Wow this is gold!
Als je dit vet vindt moet je eens naar Hallelujah Junction van John Adams luisteren als je het nog niet kent!
Sounds cool, slightly jazzy even!
It also reminds me a bit of John Adam's work in Call Me By Your Name
Oooh I've had that movie on my watchlist for ages but haven't gotten around to watching it yet
It's truly a modern classic. Let me know your thoughts whenever you get around to watch it @@kobitoergosum
Awesome chords! 🎶
I love the polymodal chord textures!

Impossible to sell to a beginner looking no further than the likes of Einaudi of course
