I was about to crash a car yesterday and today I had an accident in the parking lot “I crashed the wall” and I’m really disappointed of myself “I got my driving license almost a week ago😢” and I’m here to learn from my mistakes and to be a safe driver. Thank you
As a person who feels like I keep messing up these comments are really reassuring because most people I know always say all of it is "so easy" or "I did really good on this thing that I barely had any instruction on" and I'm happy for them but it's good to see people who mess up and keep learning how to be better and safer
I'm currently learning how to drive, and parking is hands down one of the hardest things I'm still trying my best to do properly. Driving in general is difficult for me, so it is reassuring to read some of these comments where other beginner drivers are sharing their struggles and anxieties. It especially sucks when the people around me keeps saying how easy driving is and "how are you not getting it yet?" Makes me feel very discouraged at times, but I hope these UA-cam videos will help me learn.
As someone who’s been driving for a about 6 years now remember parking lots seem small but actually have more than enough room for your vehicle. I recommend getting out and walking the parking space/lot and seeing how much room you have. That’ll give you an idea of how much space you have.
@@gamerggs9569 Thank you lots for your great tip!! Ever since I made this comment, I'm doing much better at parking now. Slow and steady improvements, haha. I still like to open the car door to check the spacing, or like you mentioned, I'll sometimes like to just step out the car and look to get an idea. Do you have any tips on parallel parking by any chance? I started learning it a bit today, but the way my family teaches it, they do more than 3 maneuvers. But on my driving test, I have to parallel park within 3 moves and no more than that. I'll watch videos of course, but I thought to also ask you too if you have any advice! :^)
Thank you for your videos . I got my license ten years ago, it took me four times to pass. After that, I barely drove at all since I lived in big cities with public transportation. However, I will be moving to a place where driving is a must. I am scared and anxious because I am not confident of my control of vehicles. When I left turn , I alway scared that I might hit the car waiting at the red light. I remembered I was not able to drive in a straight line. I felt so stupid when driving. I remembered I used to do a few right turns to avoid a left turn...
Driving is all a matter of practice. When you do let’s of practice it becomes something very simple. My suggestion is study and practice daily and you shall be fine. Sending you positive energy your way. Keep us posted.
@@he5rts They don’t test you for this type of parking on the road test. They only do parallel parking. Even when taking driving lessons, they don’t teach you how to park on a parking lot.
I am unable to do perfect forward parking with SUVs... But your tip at around 4:20 should help! Would not have thought about aligning the WHEEL with the parking spot line, rather than aligning the side mirrors with it. My instructors only use sedans and my parents don't teach little tips like that, basically have had to learn parking through guesswork and trial-and-error.
I've taken and passed my driver's test and parking wasn't on the test but for me it's still a hard thing to get down especially in a truck and at my son's school parking lot so thus helps
Touching the parking bumper with your front wheels could be bad because it could scrape and damage plastic parts under your car Such as splash shields and wind deflectors.

I am trying to learn so I don't half to ask everyone else for a ride. Your videos are great advice for passing the driver's exam. However, if you do that come to a complete stop thing before turning into a parking space, some Karen in a Jeep Cherokee is going to give you a free paint sample all down your driver's side when they decide to floor it and go around you in the Walmart parking lot.
Hello, your video is very helpful and informative. I passed my driver's license because of your video. I have a question. When I turn the steering wheel to the right, I hear a noise. Do you have any idea what the problem is with this car? Many thanks
@@Unknown-ct5yk you can do this, but your mirrors should be set up in a way that you can see the lines firstly. Then, if needed can go outside car and check. You just kind of need to find reference points from within the car, using your mirrors and remembering.

Honestly, I’m still super anxious about driving and I got my permit almost a year ago. It’s different from everyone but it just takes time, but most importantly confidence when on the road. And it’s okay to be a little anxious since it makes you more aware of surroundings and things like that
When you mean align our mirror to the line, do you mean move the whole car until we can see the line through the mirror? Or do you mean move the car mirror so that we can see the line?😅
