It’s hard for us small business owners to AFFORD recycled paper products and what not. It’s incredibly expensive and takes away from what little profit we might make each month.

Ye like I know it takes a lot of work but some of them buy and resell stuf for like €20, me and my cousin have been planning on our business for ages and we're going to make them eco friendly too and price the at around €2 or €3 euro were making lip gloss and lipscrubs btw and hopefully when we get more sells we can make body Butter and other stuff like that!

If you’re sanitising your hands and work space you don’t really need to be wearing gloves anyway, it doesn’t really make a difference after sanitising...either wear gloves or sanitise, you don’t need to do both 😊

Shops have more customers they don't have time for "cute" box or plastic bag, small businesses want to be noticed so obviously they are gonna make their box or whatever, cuter, and I think most of these channels do that just for the aesthetic and videos, they don't actually do that for all of their orders

To all those who are thinking of starting a small business, GO FOR IT! But do be warned, that there are legal things you MUST do before starting your business. Most of which you need to be 18+, or have a parent guardian fill the paperwork out. Its all tax related stuff. Example, if you want to make a profit from your business (which most want to do) then you HAVE to file either as a sole proprietor, or an LLC for when tax season comes around. As well as be careful with cosmetics. You must be licensed in order to produce cosmetics, or you risk people suing you. As well as be careful not to infringe anyone! AKA copyright/trademarks. People can take you to court over infringement. Example, using Elsa on one of your designs and selling it. That's copyright infringement as Disney owns that character, not you. As well as the word Scrunchie is actually trademarked! You can NOT use that word when selling your item! Or you risk trademark infringement.

Most of them sanitize there hands cause gloves are bad for the environment
^Yeah, gloves are a lot of waste and I wouldn't wanna use them. I would just wash my hands and sanitize everything before and after.
Sanitizing and washing hands is the same as wearing gloves and image all those gloves being thrown away to the ocean.
Some people have already discussed the environmental effects, but some businesses like my crochet business spend long amounts of time making the products and make them while watching things and such. This can make it hard to have everything perfectly sanitized. Small businesses try their best, but no one’s perfect. Also, I know no one else (or at least no one I’ve seen yet) has a crochet business, but this goes for anyone who spends long amounts of time creating each product and don’t just brand lipgloss or whatever(no shade to those people).

You should always wipe down your surface then clean your hands and put on your gloves because there is chemicals in the sanitizing wipes and then you could get it in what ever your making especially if you make lipgloss because you don’t want any unwanted chemicals in that
