So it turns out that not only does that sky area "The Work" mimic the game's core levels (i.e. the Temple, Vault, Jungle, etc.) on each floor, but if you keep going up past the moon, it actually starts over again, looping forever just like the game world does left to right. Not only that, but digging down beneath the bottom of the "main game" area (the same area the sky level is found), there's a giant layer of lava named the Volcanic Lake, and underneath that is a "Hell" zone. This "Hell" zone works the same way as the sky zone (which I've taken to calling "Heaven"), mimicking the game's core levels, separated by empty space between each layer, and looping seemingly infinitely downward. I made a video looking at both of these areas, and what each mimicked layer looks like in both Heaven and Hell, if you wanna see it in action. Judging by the dark red background, it looks like Spleen actually dug into Hell at the end of this video, but everything was transmuted to gold, so no enemies were spawning...

There's actually a technical reason the gold amount turns to infinity. Notice how it turns to infinity after reaching 2.147 billion, that's the maximum value a signed 32-bit integer can have. The game seems to be hard coded so that you can never have more than that. Or rather if you get above that they just change it to infinite because it would probably cause some problems if they left the value alone after reaching the max. @@gaswerti It's just probably for flair. The player happened to get INT_MAX amount of gold so it's pretty much equivalent of infinity in this reference so just lock it.
