A version that shoots 6~8mm steel balls would be nice, it depends on which file you printed.
And tapered theraband black flatbands in layers and a vertical foregrip to Fascillate cocking.

i have the orginal version of this crossbow made an always loved it but was never able to get it to shoot any of the plastic vane bolts, only tpu an id always seen this version on there but never actually wanted to try it til i watched this video. def picking the files up now.
That is totally awesome! I wonder how this video is slip from my radar. I always want to see other RS-X 1911 builds but found nothing, and suddenly this appear on my page just now.
By the way is there any advantages for the use of the rollers other than it's tidyness? I think using one rubber will improve accuracy because left and right will be always the sama, what do you think?
Hi Ulung, yes the tubes are neater, I've been making them for a while so I find them easy to construct. In one piece as a loop they are easy to take on and off the bow. Swapping between different strength tubes is quick and simple. The loop passes under the front of the bow with a longer working piece of rubber resulting in a smoother draw pull and more even power release. Currently printing a modified version of the Aderini magazine which will allow me to do something similar with it. Will post a video once complete.
@@slingbowmk.l3114 Change to an 8mm steel ball version, which automatically resets after pulling the handle. I think this improvement is good!

Hey hi can we expect a smaller version to be able to print on the ender 3 v2 printers. which has bed size of only 220mm
You can get up to 235 x 235 mm out of Ender 3 Series printer beds. See this article for details on how to adjust in Cura: 3dprinterly.com/how-to-print-use-maximum-build-volume-in-cura/ .Should be able to fit all parts if rotated on an Ender 3 bed.

Hi it can be setup with either tubes or bands. Best speeds are with crossbow limbs. The draw length is the main limiter.
@slingbowmk.l3114 do you know of a band of broad head that fits. What would you say is the max strength of tubing you could use?

I’ve tried up to 3090 rubber but I found beyond 3080 while the draw weight increases significantly there are only minor increases in speed with the short draw length being the limiting factor. Best speeds are with the crossbow limbs upgrade! Regards
