I like how that front bag has a flap that folds backwards for easy access while riding. Most of the ones I've seen fold frontwards, which makes it harder
Top bike- and setup check. Seems like a great way to get through trails carrying a lot of stuff but keeping the bike feeling well because of the weight distribution. Would have liked to hear how the scalpel rides with the load, particularly with the weight at the front. Does the rack bounce around or is there interference with the fork? Love the vibe, looks like you ppl are having a great time.
The bike rode great with the front rack. Most of the weight was in the frame bag (4L of water). I’m using the jackthebikerack to mount the front bag and it doesn’t bounce at all.
After getting the strap of my Tailfin rack get caught up behind my cassette and in my spokes this weekend, I’m definitely going to have to use your voile strap method moving forward. It’s hard to cinch down a full pack with the stock straps anyway. Which size did you go with?
@@TerryB yeah, sorry about the stupid question, I thought the rack and bag were a separate deal, found that out after a quick googlé. It's a complete system like Aeroe or something (although much lighter). Thanks for the answer.

How’s the front rack? Looks great for a suspension bike. Looking at one for the Canyon Grizl Trail.
It’s good. I’ve used it on a cross country trip as well. It’s still holding up.
Hi Terry. Which sleeping pad and tent do you carry? Also, if you could recommend a compact sleeping bag

Would you ever do tour divide?
Yes. This was a short sample of that. I’d love to do it soon.
🚀😃
dental flosser but no deodorant?? 😭😭😭 i loved it tho
Deodorant attracts the bugs
@@TerryB for realll? damn, didnt know that. even the ones that arent spray?
Couldn't agree more with what Terry said in the video, bringing deodorant out into nature is so unnecessary :)
Wait a sec, is this the same Ivy that was on Trainerroad's podcasts?
Yes it is
The one and only. New and improved and podcast-free lol.
