This is exactly how I laid some large slabs on lawn for my motorcycle. After one year they had sunk into the lawn under their own weight and perhaps that of the bike. They are now level with the lawn and have stayed there. Mowing is now not a problem. One corner was not level due to a dip in the ground, so I used slate chips to pack it. All good so far….

A good video showing us the viewers a glimpse of your life in paradise☺️😇. Country living is suiting you; your fashion style has changed, doing outdoor chores and positive outlook on life. Please keep up with the inspiring videos. BTW the slabs look good and functional!!

    1. Buy a rubber mallet
    2. If the ground is soft enough, use the rubber mallet to level the concrete slabs so its even with the ground.. then you can drive your lawnmover over them.. If the ground is not soft, then you take a shovel or hack it loose underneath the slabs to get it down to ground level.
    3. What if you start making a series also where you try all Swedish ready made meals, frozen/canned whatever and you rate them each time.. could be very unique thing for your channel.
Also time to time, you trying to make simple dishes like the Köttbullemacka you bought from the bakery.. its very easy and they havent done anything other than the bread themselves.. You can buy all those ingredients and put it together. ICA has a great "Basic" beetroot salad, those meatballs are standard ready made, the salad, and you buy some bread.

Great suggestion but me and cooking are enemies. If I tried I would have many food poisoning videos 😂

Lake = mosquitoes so I guess one's better off not being super close to one. In Spain they ring the bells every hour, once I lived like 300 meters from one haha. Very noisy, but you do get used to it. You block it out after a while.

Use a weed wacker for the grass between the slabs.
Oh, did you have a terrible adjustment to go from right hand side drive to left? Sweden used to have right hand drive, drove on the left, like Britain (Ireland), until one day in the 1960s, when they stopped all traffic and made the switch.

Good morning. Dig a little bit under each slab and it will be the same level with the ground and you can cut the grass without any problem.

So it looks like you are pretty remote. Where I live not quite that much, but we do drive 70 miles or 112 kilometers each way to shop for food. We want organic produce and other products, and we're plant based so living here you need to travel to culture to get what you want. So get your self a cordless weedeater to trim your path or sink them flush, well hire some kid to do it. By the way what did you do with all your clothes you had in that big closet? You had one built there? One last thing I am a builder and do everything on a job, plumbing, electrical, super cool bathrooms, ect.. somebody has to help people create wealth so people like me have plenty to do. And it's good that we can learn both sides.

A ”grästrimmer” (grass trimmer?) can be a useful tool, when you need to cut grass in tight spots.
