A Grain of Wheat - Major Ian Thomas

An excerpt from a sermon entitled, "A Grain of Wheat," by Major Ian Thomas (1914-2007)
John 12:24 Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain. 25 He who loves his life will lose it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life. 26 If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.
Major Ian Thomas served the living Lord Jesus with all his life. Even in his 90s he was teaching, preaching and spoke personally to his many visitors over a cup of tea. He completed his latest book The Indwelling Life of Christ at 92 and went to be with His Lord on Wednesday 1st August 2007 and is still enjoying the adventure of sharing Christs life, not with the earthly place that he dwelt but now "living with the Saviour all the day long" for eternity.

@chosengaby Matt 9:24 Jairus' daughter was 'asleep' but her soul was residing in abraham's bosom, at that time pre resurrection of Christ, But after His resurrection He took all the Godly departed 'sleepers' into Heaven with Him 40 days later, also read the next verse in psalm 115...verse 18, BUT WE SHALL PRAISE HIM FROM THIS TIME FORTH, soul sleep is a false doctrine !

I love this man of God and have been so blessed by his book THE SAVING LIFE OF CHRIST .
