She has no legacy. Wrestling men floundered and she didn't put anyone over in the women's division so she's nothing more than an oddity of the past.
Underrated?! She's extremely overrated. Jazz, Ivory, Jaqueline, Molly Holly, they are underrated. Chyna is in the list of woman wrestlers who are always mentioned along with Trish Stratus, Lita, and Sable.
She was a trendsetter not the best in the ring or on the mic but no female had done what she did before her

@@redrick8900 Ha. That sounds like a petty comment. There's no denying that she shattered glass ceilings, kicked down doors and broke gender barriers. If she barely put anyone over in the women's division (except Lita; who she had a lot of respect for) is because there weren't anyone capable of give her a run for her money. She wanted to wrestle women but the roster at the time were lackluster. Lita and Molly Holly were the ones that gave her a little battle. Ivory had a great feud with her but with the help of her stable. Besides that, nope. Trish was green AF and Victoria, Jazz and Gail Kim would come after Chyna left. So there's no reason to shit on her legacy when she clearly was one of a kind. She was not the best wrestler but she was talented. She got the moves and the powerhouse. So please be respectful.
She blew me a kiss at the event in Boston, the night before Wrestlemania 14, and have it on video as well. Attractive as a lady can be, but in person such a sweetheart who spoke gently and was always willing to do a photo op with fans. RIP Joanie, I'll never forget you.

When Sable graced the covers of Playboy it was said to be their seventh best all time seller. And Chyna's first cover appearance out sold her. Supposedly by 200k or more, Shawn is not the only one by a long shot.
By that point though she had had some... "enhancement" done, most guys LOVE them large!
I agree. Chyna was incredibly beautiful and sexy from the very beginning. But most importantly, she was beautiful on the inside. We will always love and miss my hero and icon, CHYNA!

I loved Chyna right from the beginning. I had pictures of her on my wall cut out from WWF magazine. Well DX all together but I was crushing on Chyna from day one. Long before she spoke or wrestled, just mean mugging beside HHH. I was in love. Lol
I knew Joanie. We grew up together in Rochester, NY. We're the same age. She was an amazing talent and an amazing person who unfortunately got into some substances that were incredibly damaging to her mind and her body. And, yes, she was gorgeous before she got into those substances.
She came across as a very beautiful kind, caring person with a lot of affection and a heart of gold. Warm and bubbly. What was she like growing up? She’s greatly missed. 😢
Yeah, she always had really good genetics, too bad about her past which led to her abusing substances though. She was a true anomaly even without steroids as her natural beauty was unmistakable and without steroids she would have been a top diva for sure.
As a young boy, Chyna on the cover of the Raw magazine made me very happy 😂

I love the behind-the-scenes stories about professional wrestling and the talent. Chyna was such a great addition to the stable, D-X. How I wish she hadn't left the industry.
It's amazing how Joanie's character was incredibly serious, the one thing that DX wasn't, yet the group would have not been the same without her.

A lot prettier than Stephanie in my opinion. Triple H definitely went after the bosses daughter for the money because Chyna was prettier and had a sweet personality and a unique look that only one in a million women have.

It's not just about looks. All accounts, Chyna was a very sweet, hardworking, and dedicated person. Not to mention, could probably legit kick most guys asses. I don't care what they say, a lot of men find that attractive. Myself included.

Thought the exact same thing about Chyna, she was unbelievably beautiful and didn't need to change a thing about herself. I honestly feel like a lot of it boils down to Paul and his affect on her.
she was a believable badass....I don't give a shit. I always enjoyed her as a face and would feel sorry for her when heels would mess her up, and always wanted her to get her comeuppance as a heel lol. So screw what anyone says ,she was great. Rest in piece Chyna.

He answered it with the first word. He said get inspect was huge, that DX would have just been another two dudes with a manager without her, that visually coming out of the gate it turned them into an intimidating stable. It’s easier to hear with earbuds.

Probably not a good combination. Shawn was heavily into drugs during that time in his life and was only getting worse on drugs through 1998 and the few years that followed before he finally got clean. Joanie in the end struggled with drugs even though she had prescriptions for everything that was found in her apartment at the time of her death. Joanie may have never went down the drug path if they weren't so abundant in pro wrestling. And being around Shawn at the time, would make things tough because he was using so steadily. A fascinating "what if" scenario, but one I think that was probably a bad pairing. Same thing when people say what if Shawn and Sunny actually got married when he proposed to her in 1997.
2001 Chyna at WrestleMania was a 10/10.
Too bad she wasn't still alive to hear someone like Shawn being highly respectful and praise he gave her.... Not just her looks but her looks as well.

I remember back in 2001 when she did the playboy shoot. Was a junior in high school and we were able to get one of our senior friends who is 18 at the time to get the magazine off the rack and buy it. After checking her out, it looked like China could cause death by snoo snoo as well as kicking ass.
I always felt X Pac and Billy Gunn thought Chyna was smoking hot. Never believed Shawn Michaels felt the same way.
